Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
7/10 · HighNo financial licence found in any jurisdiction while taking retail deposits, plus a Bank of Russia listing naming unfxb.com for signs of illegal securities market activity and an invented Saint Lucia authority; 10 is reserved for an enforcement or court action, which we did not find.
Identity & transparency
7/10 · HighEntities are named and two were confirmed on official registries, but the registry entity (UNFXB Limited) differs from the entity the licences page names, a dissolved Canadian company is listed as current, the registered address is a mass-registration offshore suite, and the homepage carries placeholder testimonials beside a 100K customers claim.
Withdrawals & conduct
8/10 · CriticalFund integrity pattern passing all four tests: the same failure, clustered through 2026, from different users on two platforms, with amounts and dates including 2,330 dollars, 2,000 dollars and a 70,000 dollar report; held below 9 because systematic denial is not confirmed, support responds and some clients report successful withdrawals.
Reputation
8/10 · CriticalTrustpilot 2.3 out of 5 across 90 reviews with a hollow middle (57 percent five star, 38 percent one star, no two star), independent review platforms rating it unregulated and high risk, and a national regulator's illegal activity listing behind it.
Website claims
10/10 · CriticalOutright falsehoods: an authority that does not exist, two company numbers labelled as FSA and IFC licence numbers, a Mauritius licence absent from the register, a dissolved company shown as a current branch, 'Regulated and licensed' and 'reputable global regulation' with no licence, and a 2003 and 18 year history against a 2017 oldest domain and its own 2016 founding statement.
Operational history
6/10 · HighAbout seven years verified (oldest domain August 2017, oldest company September 2019) which we credit, but the advertised history runs to 23 years with no evidenced predecessor, and the oldest corporate leg was dissolved in December 2025.
Who they are
A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.
The desk file, as verified rather than as advertised.
- Brand: UNICORN Brokers Holding. The retail brokerage trades as UNIPRIME (formerly UNFXB, formerly Unicorn Brokers) at unfxb.com; the flagship site unicornbrokers.com now trades as UNFXCO, a business to business trading technology brand.
- Legal entity: UNFXB Limited, registration 26505, a Business Company incorporated in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on 28 October 2021. The site's own licences page attributes that same number to 'UNIPRIME LTD'.
- Registered: Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Centre, Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, through the agent EURO-CARIBBEAN TRUSTEES LTD. A second address is given at The Sotheby Building, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia, and a support office at Agias Zonis 22A, Limassol, Cyprus.
- Website: unfxb.com for the brokerage, portalunfxb.com for the live client portal, unicornbrokers.com and unfxco.com for the technology arm, plus unfxb.eu and my.cabinunfxb.com.
- Only licence: none. Every number published is a company, chamber of commerce or commercial registration, in St. Vincent, Saint Lucia, Canada, Cyprus, Afghanistan, Iraq and Turkey.
- Offers: forex, metals, indices, stocks, commodities, energy and crypto CFDs on MetaTrader 5, with leverage advertised up to 1:300 and in places 1:1000, PAMM, MAM and copy trading, a prop tournament, bonus promotions including a 1,000 dollar account for a 100 dollar deposit, and minimum funding quoted from 10 dollars. Deposits and withdrawals run through USDT, Ethereum, PerfectMoney and Neteller.
- Not accepted: residents of the United States, Turkey and Mauritius, by the broker's own statement. Site languages are English, Arabic, Kurdish and Persian, and the broker markets itself as 'The Most Active Iranian Broker'.
- Age claim: the technology site's footer reads 'Copyright 2003-2026' and the homepage claims '23+ Years of Experience'; the brokerage claims 'More than 18 years of experience'; its own about page says operations began in 2016. The oldest domain in the group was registered in August 2017 and the oldest company we could date was incorporated in September 2019.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
Six findings drive the verdict, and the first comes from a national regulator.
- A central bank has listed the exact website. The Bank of Russia's register of entities with detected signs of illegal activities in the financial market carries an entry for 'UNICORN FOREX BROKER, UNFXB', naming the websites unfxb.com and my.cabinunfxb.com, under the heading 'Signs of illegal professional securities market participant'. It was entered on 27 November 2024 and the page remains published.
- A company number is sold as a licence. The brokerage's regulations page lists 'Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, UNIPRIME, FSA License Number 26505 BC 2021'. The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority's own company database returns that number as 'UNFXB Limited', entity type 'BC-Business Company', status Active, incorporated 28 October 2021. A Business Company registration is incorporation paperwork. The SVG FSA does not license or supervise forex dealing, and its own description of what it regulates does not include forex brokerage.
- One of the named authorities does not exist. The licences page states that in Saint Lucia 'The Financial Services and Forex Brokerage Authority oversees the relevant registry and regulatory framework'. There is no body of that name. Saint Lucia's financial regulator is the Financial Services Regulatory Authority, and a Saint Lucia IBC number such as 2024-00028 is a company registration, not permission to deal.
- The Mauritius licence is not on the Mauritius register. The about page says UNIPRIME LTD operates 'under a license from Mauritius with registration number 177815 AC'. A search of the Financial Services Commission's Register of Licensees covered UNIPRIME, UNFXB and UNICORN. Nothing matching this operation is listed; the only Unicorn entries are three unrelated investment funds. An 'AC' number denotes a Mauritius Authorised Company, which by law conducts its business outside Mauritius and cannot carry on financial services there, so it could not authorise a brokerage even if it exists.
- A dissolved company is presented as a current one. The regulations page lists 'Canada, UNIPRIME PTY LTD, Registration No: BC1223308'. The British Columbia registry records BC1223308 as 'UNICORN BROKERS LTD.', registered 15 September 2019, and shows the status as Historical following a 'System Dissolution, Fail to File' on 30 December 2025. The name is wrong and the company has been dissolved for roughly ten months while the page still offers it as a branch.
- Clients report that money did not come back. On Trustpilot's page for unfxb.com (90 reviews, 2.3 out of 5) the one star reviews describe one failure repeatedly: a withdrawal of 2,330 dollars pending about three months, 2,000 dollars described as taken with a request two months unprocessed, a transfer debited but not received, and accounts blocked while holding a balance with profit and principal removed. On BrokersView a trader reports 70,000 dollars withheld and the account blocked, dated 9 August 2026. The reports come from different people on two platforms, they cluster through 2026 with several in June 2026, and they carry amounts and dates. That meets all four tests we apply before treating a complaint set as a pattern.
Two things about the numbers. The score rests on verified records, not on the volume of complaints: the regulator listing and the register extracts carry the weight. And the only 'License Number' the group's flagship site publishes, 661903 beside 'FINANCIAL Activities, Stock exchange and trade (TOBB) 9239', is the Turkish economic activity code 66.19.03 for financial consultancy from the chamber of commerce classification system. It is an industry classification, not an authorisation, and it is not an FSA licence.
We assess the risk of fraud as high. We should be precise about what has and has not been established: no regulator or court has made a finding of fraud against this operation, and the Bank of Russia's entry records signs of unlicensed activity rather than a fraud finding. What is established is that client money is being taken without any financial licence, that the regulatory claims on the website are false, and that a consistent group of clients cannot get their funds out.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The Bank of Russia's list of entities with detected signs of illegal activities in the financial market carries an entry for 'UNICORN FOREX BROKER, UNFXB', websites unfxb.com and my.cabinunfxb.com, under 'Signs of illegal professional securities market participant', dated 27 November 2024 and still published. It names an anchor domain exactly.
E2The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority company database returns registration 26505 as 'UNFXB Limited', entity type 'BC-Business Company', status Active, incorporated 28 October 2021, agent EURO-CARIBBEAN TRUSTEES LTD. The broker publishes the same number as an 'FSA License Number'. A search for UNIPRIME returns no entity at all.
E3The broker's own licences page states that in Saint Lucia 'The Financial Services and Forex Brokerage Authority oversees the relevant registry and regulatory framework'. No authority of that name exists; Saint Lucia's regulator is the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The same page frames two company registrations as 'the following regulatory authorities' and publishes no link to any register.
StrongUNFXB licences pageE4The Mauritius Financial Services Commission Register of Licensees returns nothing for UNIPRIME and nothing for UNFXB. A control search for UNICORN returns only three unrelated investment funds, confirming the search works. The claimed 'license from Mauritius with registration number 177815 AC' is therefore unsupported, and an AC number denotes an Authorised Company, which cannot carry on financial services in Mauritius.
E5The British Columbia registry records BC1223308 as 'UNICORN BROKERS LTD.', business number 771553278, registered 15 September 2019, status Historical following 'System Dissolution, Fail to File' on 30 December 2025. The broker's regulations page still lists BC1223308 as a current Canadian branch and under a different name, 'UNIPRIME PTY LTD'.
E6Trustpilot's page for unfxb.com, in the name UNFXB LTD, shows 90 reviews at 2.3 out of 5 with a hollow middle (57 percent five star, 38 percent one star, no two star). The one star reviews describe one repeated failure: 2,330 dollars pending about three months (Hassan Salmaniyan, 22 June 2026), 2,000 dollars described as taken with a request two months unprocessed (Jack Oniell, 14 September 2026), a transfer debited but not received (Karen Marquett, 13 June 2026), a withdrawal unpaid after three weeks (Ben Williams, 23 June 2026), and accounts blocked while holding a balance with profit and principal removed (Farzin, December 2025; Sam Wilson, February 2026).
E7BrokersView's page for the broker, naming unfxb.com and portalunfxb.com, records it as unregulated and high risk and concluded on 14 August 2025 that it appears to be a scam. A trader identified as Mohammad Reza Tahan reports on 9 August 2026 that 70,000 dollars was withheld and the entire account blocked. The page also states the Mauritius registration claim has no record at the Mauritius FSC, independently matching our own register search.
E8The group advertises far more history than exists. The technology site's footer reads 'Copyright 2003-2026' with '23+ Years of Experience' on the homepage; the brokerage claims 'More than 18 years of experience'; its about page says operations began in 2016. Domain records put the oldest domain, unfxco.com, at 26 August 2017, with unicornbrokers.com at 31 August 2018 and unfxb.com at 29 November 2020.
E9The only 'License Number' published on the group's flagship site is in the footer: 'Copyright 2003-2026 License Number 661903 FINANCIAL Activities , Stock exchange and trade (TOBB) 9239'. 661903 is the Turkish economic activity code 66.19.03, other activities auxiliary to financial services, used for financial consultancy in the chamber of commerce classification system. It is an industry classification, not an authorisation, and not a licence from any financial services authority.
E10The brokerage's regulations page lists six jurisdictions as 'BRANCHES' under the line 'you get an authorized and Branches partner', and every entry is a registration rather than a licence: St. Vincent 26505 BC 2021 labelled 'FSA License Number', Canada BC1223308, Saint Lucia 2024-00028 labelled 'IFC License Number', Cyprus HE415055, Afghanistan 70645 and 145267, and an Erbil number 20240104894014 / 36497. The same page claims client funds are segregated in separate bank accounts 'in accordance with industry regulations'.
ModerateUNFXB regulations pageE11The registered address given for the contracting company, Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Centre, Kingstown, is one of the most heavily used offshore mass-registration addresses for forex companies, and the group's Turkish contact address is an apartment (No: 7, Apartment D:9) in Yalova. The flagship site's customer section carries placeholder testimonials attributed to 'John Doe', 'Jane Smith' and a 'CEO of ABCDE' beside the claim 'Loved by 100K+ Customers'.
ModerateUNFXB footer and UNFXCO homepageE12The operation is genuinely trading rather than a dormant front. The client portal at portalunfxb.com is live and opening accounts under the UniPrime brand, the brokerage runs MetaTrader 5 with PAMM, MAM and copy trading, monthly trading schedules are published through February 2026, and the group exhibited at Forex Expo Dubai 2025 and Money Expo India 2025. This also settles that it takes client deposits, so it is a brokerage and not only a technology vendor.
ModerateUNIPRIME client portal sign-upE13Points in the broker's favour, recorded as found. Two of the claimed registrations are real and appear on official registries. 51 of the 90 Trustpilot reviewers give five stars and some describe completed withdrawals. None of the one star reviews describes being asked to pay a tax, fee or further deposit to release funds, which is the most incriminating type of complaint. We found no enforcement action, no regulatory fine and no fraud-related court record naming this operation.
E14A warning sweep across the FCA, CFTC, ASIC, FINMA, BaFin, CONSOB, CNMV and FSMA lists returned no entry naming unicornbrokers.com, unfxb.com or portalunfxb.com. The Bank of Russia entry is the only regulator listing we could tie to an anchor domain. Warnings naming the similarly titled brands 'Unicorn FX' and 'Unicorn Finance' concern different operations with different websites and were excluded.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
The fair case for the other side, and it is not empty.
- This is a real business, not an empty shell. The client portal at portalunfxb.com is live and opening accounts, the brokerage runs on MetaTrader 5, trading schedules are published month after month, and the group exhibited at Forex Expo Dubai 2025 and Money Expo India 2025. The technology arm sells platform, liquidity and prop firm infrastructure to other firms. None of that resembles a site built to vanish in a weekend.
- Most of the corporate paperwork is genuine and disclosed. Two of the registrations check out on official registries: the St. Vincent company and the British Columbia company both exist and we found them. Plenty of scam operations name entities that do not exist at all. The failure here is in how the registrations are labelled, not in inventing them.
- Many clients are satisfied. 51 of the 90 Trustpilot reviewers give five stars, and some describe withdrawals that completed. Support answers complaints rather than ignoring them, in some cases citing internet conditions in Iran as the reason for payment delays, which is a real constraint for a broker serving that market.
- Offshore registration alone is not a scam. Hundreds of genuine brokers hold only weak offshore paperwork. If the website said only 'we are registered in St. Vincent and hold no licence', the honest verdict would be high risk rather than likely scam. The claims are what moves it.
- The history is longer than the usual pattern. About seven years of continuous operation is verified. That is not a freshly minted scam domain, and we have given it credit in the score.
- No enforcement and no court record. We found no prosecution, no regulatory fine, and no fraud-related court judgment naming this operation. No review found mentions a demand for a tax or release fee before withdrawal, which is the most incriminating complaint type. We say so because it matters.
We also set evidence aside. Warnings naming 'Unicorn FX' and 'Unicorn Finance' belong to different operations with different websites, and we have not counted them against this broker. A report of an Indonesian domain block could not be confirmed in the regulator's own published lists, so it carries no weight here either.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
Concrete things that would move this verdict, in either direction.
- Towards legitimate: an entry on a real financial regulator's register, in the name of the entity that actually holds client deposits, authorising dealing in investments. The Mauritius FSC Register of Licensees or the Seychelles, Vanuatu or Mauritius dealer lists carrying UNFXB Limited or UNIPRIME LTD would change the regulation finding immediately.
- Towards legitimate: the Bank of Russia removing the entry for unfxb.com from its list of entities with signs of illegal financial activity.
- Towards legitimate: the website correcting its own statements, naming Saint Lucia's actual regulator, describing 26505 BC 2021 and 2024-00028 as company registrations rather than licence numbers, dropping the dissolved Canadian company, and replacing the 2003 and 18 year history claims with the 2016 date its own about page gives.
- Towards legitimate: evidence that the pending withdrawals were paid. Published resolutions, or the complainants confirming receipt, would weaken the strongest conduct finding.
- Towards worse: a credible, specific report that a client was asked to pay a tax, fee or further deposit before funds were released. None has been found, and one documented instance would change the verdict sharply.
- Towards worse: a second regulator warning naming unfxb.com or unicornbrokers.com, an enforcement action, or the client portal going dark while balances remain unpaid.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is UNICORN Brokers a scam?
We rate it a likely scam and a high risk operation. It takes retail deposits with no financial licence anywhere, it presents company registration numbers as licence numbers, and the Bank of Russia lists its website among entities showing signs of illegal activity in the financial market. Clients also report withdrawals that were never paid.
Is UNICORN Brokers a fraud?
No court or regulator has made a finding of fraud against this operation, so we do not state that as a fact. What is on the record is the Bank of Russia's entry for 'UNICORN FOREX BROKER, UNFXB' citing signs of illegal professional securities market participant activity, false regulatory claims on the broker's own pages, and a group of clients reporting that their money did not come back. On that evidence we assess the risk of fraud as high.
Is UNICORN Brokers regulated?
No. No register shows a financial licence in any jurisdiction. Every number the company publishes is a company, chamber of commerce or commercial registration: St. Vincent 26505 BC 2021, Saint Lucia 2024-00028, Canada BC1223308, Cyprus HE415055, Afghanistan 70645, an Erbil commercial number, and a Turkish activity code. None of them permits dealing in investments.
What is UNFXB and UNIPRIME? Are they the same company as UNICORN Brokers?
Yes, they are the same operation under successive names. Unicorn Brokers became UNFXB and the retail brokerage now markets itself as UNIPRIME, all on unfxb.com with the same client portal. The contracting company on the St. Vincent registry is still UNFXB Limited, number 26505.
Is the 'FSA License Number 26505 BC 2021' a real licence?
No. It is a company registration. The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority's own database returns 26505 as 'UNFXB Limited', entity type 'BC-Business Company', incorporated 28 October 2021. The SVG FSA does not license or supervise forex brokers, so describing the number as an FSA licence misstates what it is.
Does UNICORN Brokers really hold a Mauritius licence?
We could not find one. The about page claims a licence under number 177815 AC, but nothing for UNIPRIME or UNFXB appears on the Mauritius Financial Services Commission's Register of Licensees. An 'AC' number denotes a Mauritius Authorised Company, which must conduct its business outside Mauritius and is not permitted to carry on financial services there.
What is the 'Financial Services and Forex Brokerage Authority' named on the website?
No authority of that name exists. Saint Lucia's financial regulator is the Financial Services Regulatory Authority, and Saint Lucia company registrations are handled by its companies registry. An invented regulator name on a licences page is one of the clearest warning signs there is.
Can I withdraw my money from UNICORN Brokers?
Some clients say they have; a consistent group says they cannot. Trustpilot reviews for unfxb.com describe a withdrawal of 2,330 dollars pending about three months, 2,000 dollars described as taken, a transfer debited but never received, and accounts blocked while holding a balance. One trader reports 70,000 dollars withheld. If you hold a balance, request a full withdrawal now and document everything.
Is my money safe with UNICORN Brokers?
We would not treat it as safe. The site says client funds are held in segregated accounts, but with no licence there is no regulator checking that claim, no audit requirement behind it and no compensation scheme if the company fails or stops paying. Your money would depend entirely on the company's goodwill.
Who owns UNICORN Brokers and where is it based?
The group presents itself as UNICORN Brokers Holding under founder and chief executive Cyrus Abdollahi. The company that contracts with clients is UNFXB Limited, incorporated in St. Vincent and the Grenadines at Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Centre, Kingstown. Offices are also given in Saint Lucia, Limassol in Cyprus, Erbil and Yalova in Turkey, where the contact address is an apartment.
How old is UNICORN Brokers really?
About seven years. The oldest domain in the group, unfxco.com, was registered in August 2017, and the oldest company we could date, UNICORN BROKERS LTD. in British Columbia, was registered in September 2019. That is genuine history, but it is far short of the '23+ Years of Experience' and 'Copyright 2003-2026' on the technology site, or the 'more than 18 years' on the brokerage. The company's own about page says operations began in 2016.
Is UNICORN Brokers a clone of another broker?
No. It uses its own brands, its own domains and its own registered companies, and it does not quote another firm's licence number. The problem is not impersonation; it is that the credentials it advertises are company paperwork rather than financial licences.
Why does the broker refuse clients in Turkey when it lists a Turkish address?
The brokerage states it does not serve residents of the United States, Turkey or Mauritius, yet its group contact address is in Yalova, Turkey and a Turkish entity name appears on it. Leveraged forex can only be offered to Turkish residents by firms the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye has authorised, which this operation is not, so excluding Turkey while keeping an address there is consistent with avoiding that regulator.
What should I do if I have been scammed by this broker?
Stop sending money, including any request for a tax, fee or extra deposit to release funds. Gather your deposit records, withdrawal requests, chat logs and wallet addresses or transaction IDs. Ask your bank or card issuer about a chargeback immediately, because the deadlines are short. Then report it to the financial regulator and police where you live, and to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority as the registry of the contracting company.
What should I check before depositing with any broker?
Find the licence yourself on the regulator's own register, and check that the licensed name matches the company in the client agreement that will hold your money. Treat a company registration number, a chamber of commerce code or an 'IBC' number as proof of nothing. If a licences page names an authority you cannot find on a government website, walk away.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
What we would tell someone who asked us today.
- Do not deposit. There is no financial licence behind this operation in any jurisdiction, so there is no regulator to complain to, no compensation scheme and no supervised segregation of client money, whatever the website says about separate bank accounts.
- If you already have a balance, request a full withdrawal now and keep a record of the request, the amount and the date. Withdraw in the same way you deposited where that is possible.
- Never pay a tax, commission, verification fee or extra deposit to release a withdrawal. No legitimate broker and no tax authority requires money in before money out. We did not find this being asked here, but it is the next step in this pattern and you should expect it.
- If funds are blocked: write to the complaints address the broker publishes and set a deadline; if you paid by card, ask your bank about a chargeback straight away, because the time limits are strict; if you paid by crypto, keep the wallet addresses and transaction IDs.
- Report it. File with the financial regulator and the police in your own country of residence, and with the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority as the registry of the contracting company.
- If you are looking for a broker: choose one whose licence you can find yourself on a regulator's register, in the name of the company that will hold your money.
