Is VENMAR a scam?

High risk (unverified)MEDIUM confidence
Updated August 21, 2026
Offshore-licensed broker with an unverified track record and an offline website

We found no evidence that VENMAR (Ven Mar Limited) is a scam, and its Seychelles licence is genuine, but we are publishing a risk figure of 65 percent because this is a young operation with almost no verifiable public track record, and both its website and its client login portal were offline throughout our review.

  • The Seychelles Financial Services Authority lists Ven Mar Limited on its own Securities Dealer register, and the website recorded there is www.venmarltd.com, the same site we investigated. This is not a clone.
  • That licence, SD188, is the only one the firm holds. Seychelles is a low-tier offshore jurisdiction, so it offers little practical protection for client money and no compensation scheme.
  • The company website and the member login portal at member.venmarltd.com both fail to load because of an invalid security certificate. Clients cannot reach their accounts.
  • The domain was registered in December 2023, so the operation is under three years old, and we could not date the company itself.
  • We found no complaints anywhere, but we also found no reviews at all: no Trustpilot profile, no Reddit discussion, no Forex Peace Army thread.

Regulation

6/10 · High

Holds a genuine Seychelles FSA Securities Dealer licence, SD188, confirmed on the regulator's own register with the register-recorded website matching this broker's domain, but it is a tier-3 offshore permission with no compensation scheme and no tier-1 oversight.

Identity & transparency

3/10 · Low

Discloses its legal entity, company registration number 8435773-1 and a registered address that matches the address the regulator holds, though the firm publishes no direct register verification link and its pages are currently unreachable.

Withdrawals & conduct

4/10 · Moderate

No fund-integrity or service complaints found on any platform, but with the client login portal offline and no client reports of successful payouts, fund access could not be positively confirmed either.

Reputation

6/10 · High

No community footprint at all: Trustpilot has no page for the domain and we found no Reddit or Forex Peace Army discussion, so there is neither adverse history nor any independent confirmation the service works.

Website claims

3/10 · Low

Claims checked out accurately, with a real licence number, a real entity and a 2023 start date matching the domain age, alongside a proper risk warning and disclosed country restrictions; only the plural reference to leading international regulators overstates a single offshore licence.

Operational history

5/10 · Moderate

About two years and eight months of verifiable history from the December 2023 domain registration, with the company leg undatable because the Seychelles registry is not public, and the public site now offline.

Regulation

Proof found

Proof of regulation on an official register: Yes

We confirmed this broker on a genuine regulator’s register.

Licences the broker publishes

Financial Services Authority (FSA) Seychelles

VerifiedTier 3Limited relevance
A Securities Dealer licence from the Seychelles Financial Services Authority, the offshore regulator for the non-bank financial sector. It permits dealing in securities and derivatives, and we confirmed Ven Mar Limited on the FSA's own Securities Dealer register with the website www.venmarltd.com recorded against it. It is genuine supervision, but it is low-tier: capital, conduct and client-money requirements are far lighter than in the UK or Australia, and there is no investor compensation scheme.
Protection: Low. No investor compensation scheme and limited practical recourse if client money is not returned.Official register

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

The regulatory side of this broker checks out. Everything else is too thin to call it safe.

  • The licence is real and it belongs to this broker. We opened the Seychelles FSA register of Securities Dealers and found Ven Mar Limited listed, with the address Room 2, Office 6, Block B, Global Village, Jivan's Complex, Mont Fleuri, Mahe, and the website www.venmarltd.com. Because the register itself records the same domain we investigated, this passes the clone test. Many suspect brokers quote a real licence belonging to somebody else. This one does not.
  • But it is the weakest kind of licence. A Seychelles Securities Dealer authorisation is a tier-3 offshore permission. It is genuine supervision, yet it comes with no investor compensation fund and little realistic prospect of recovering money through the regulator if something goes wrong.
  • The website and the client portal are both down. Both www.venmarltd.com and the member login at member.venmarltd.com fail with an invalid security certificate. For a firm that holds client deposits, an inaccessible login page is a serious operational problem: it is the route clients use to see balances and request withdrawals. We cannot tell from outside whether this is neglect, a wind-down, or a temporary fault, and we are not treating it as proof of misconduct. We are treating it as an unresolved risk.
  • The track record is short, and one half of it is unmeasurable. The domain was registered on 12 December 2023, which is under three years. The Seychelles company registry is not publicly searchable, so we could not obtain an incorporation date for Ven Mar Limited. That means the age figure rests on the domain alone and should be read as an upper bound.
  • There is no community footprint whatsoever. We checked Trustpilot, Reddit and Forex Peace Army. Trustpilot has no page for this domain at all. We found no complaints, which is good, but we also found no positive reviews and no discussion of any kind. A brokerage with a real client base normally leaves some trace, and the absence of one means we cannot confirm that withdrawals work in practice.
  • We found nothing incriminating. No regulator warning or alert names this brand or this domain. No withdrawal complaints. No demand for extra payments to release funds. No borrowed licence number, entity name or address. No sign of a predecessor brand. The advertised 2023 start date matches the evidence rather than contradicting it.
  • Why the published figure is 65 percent. On the evidence alone this broker scores 45 percent. Our rules raise that figure for an operation under three years old, because a young broker with no findings is exactly the case where an absence of findings proves least. The 65 percent reflects how little could be established about a young, trace-less business, not misconduct we discovered.

Evidence ledger

Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.

3 against4 in favour
  • E1The Seychelles Financial Services Authority lists Ven Mar Limited on its own register of licensed Securities Dealers, recording the address Room 2, Office 6, Block B, Global Village, Jivan's Complex, Mont Fleuri, Mahe, the phone number 4262578, the email [email protected] and the website www.venmarltd.com. The website on the register is the same domain we investigated, so the licence belongs to this operation and not to an impersonator.

  • E2The broker's own regulation page states that Ven Mar Limited is a Securities Dealer authorised and regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority with licence number SD188, and its footer gives Seychelles company registration number 8435773-1 and a registered office at Suite 3, Global Village, Jivan's Complex, Mont Fleuri, Mahe. The page carries no direct link to the regulator's register for a reader to check the claim.

ModerateVen Mar Limited regulation page, archived copy dated 27 March 2025
  • E3The domain venmarltd.com was registered on 12 December 2023 through GoDaddy, with the record last updated on 13 December 2025 and nameservers at Cloudflare. That makes the operation about two years and eight months old and matches, rather than contradicts, the firm's statement that it began in 2023.

StrongVerisign registration data lookup for venmarltd.com
  • E4The broker's public website does not load. Requests to www.venmarltd.com and to venmarltd.com return an invalid security certificate error rather than any page content, on repeated attempts across the review.

ModerateDirect check of the broker's website
  • E5The client login portal is also unreachable. The member area at member.venmarltd.com, which the broker's own pages link to for registration and login, fails with the same invalid certificate error, so existing clients have no route to their accounts or to a withdrawal request.

StrongDirect check of the broker's client portal
  • E6Trustpilot holds no review page for venmarltd.com at all. The per-domain address returns a not-found result, meaning the broker has neither complaints nor positive reviews on the largest general consumer review platform.

ModerateTrustpilot per-domain review page for venmarltd.com
  • E7A search of the Seychelles register of struck-off and dissolved companies for Ven Mar returned no matching records, indicating the company has not been struck off or dissolved. The register covers only struck-off and dissolved companies, so active companies do not appear in it.

ModerateSeychelles Financial Services Authority struck-off and dissolved company search
  • E8A sweep for regulator warnings and alerts naming Ven Mar Limited or venmarltd.com returned no hits as at 21 August 2026, including against the FCA warning list of unauthorised firms. Warning lists lag new scam operations, so this is not a clearance.

ModerateWarning-list sweep, including the FCA warning list of unauthorised firms
  • E9A search of Reddit and Forex Peace Army for this brand and domain produced no first-hand client accounts of any kind, whether positive or negative. Combined with the absent Trustpilot page, the operation has no traceable community footprint.

ModerateReddit and Forex Peace Army searches for the brand and the domain
  • E10The broker advertises MetaTrader 5, but a search of the MetaQuotes community site produced no trading server registered under this brand or its Ventures Market name. Coverage of that source is incomplete, so this is a weak indicator rather than a finding.

WeakMetaQuotes MQL5 community broker and server search
  • E11The broker's own terms state that it does not offer services to residents of certain jurisdictions including the USA, Iran, North Korea, Europe and the United Kingdom, which is consistent with the limits of an offshore Seychelles licence rather than with soliciting clients in regulated markets it has no permission to serve.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

The case for this broker being an ordinary, small offshore brokerage rather than anything worse is genuinely reasonable.

  • Its licence is on the issuer's own register, and the register lists the same website we investigated. That is the single hardest thing for an impersonator to fake, and it is the check that catches most clone operations.
  • The firm discloses its legal entity, its company registration number and a registered address that matches the address the regulator holds on file. Many bad actors disclose none of that.
  • Its published history is honest. A firm inventing a track record claims to have traded since 2010. This one says 2023, and the domain was registered in December 2023.
  • It carries a proper risk warning and names the jurisdictions it will not serve, including the USA, the UK and Europe. That is the behaviour of an operator trying to stay inside its permissions, not one chasing regulated markets it has no licence for.
  • The company does not appear on the Seychelles register of struck-off and dissolved companies, so the entity has not been abandoned on paper.
  • Zero complaints across every platform we checked is a real result. There is no pattern of clients saying their money did not come back, because there are no such reports at all.
  • A broken security certificate is a common and mundane failure. Certificates expire and small firms miss the renewal. It is not, by itself, evidence of anything dishonest.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

Concrete things that would move this verdict in either direction.

  • Lower risk: the website and the client login portal coming back online and staying up, so that a prospective client can actually read the terms and an existing client can reach their account.
  • Lower risk: a genuine review footprint appearing, in particular first-hand reports with amounts and dates confirming that withdrawals were paid. That is the single most useful missing piece.
  • Lower risk: the operation passing three years with the licence still in force and no fund-access complaints. Most of the current figure is carried by youth alone, and youth resolves itself.
  • Lower risk: an incorporation date for Ven Mar Limited from the Seychelles registrar, which would let us measure the company leg of the track record instead of relying on the domain.
  • Higher risk: the firm disappearing from the Seychelles FSA Securities Dealer register, or the register showing the licence cancelled or lapsed.
  • Higher risk: any credible report of a withdrawal being refused or delayed, and especially any demand for a tax, fee or verification payment before funds are released. One specific, checkable instance of that would change this report substantially.
  • Higher risk: the site returning under a different brand or a different legal entity, or any regulator publishing a warning naming venmarltd.com.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

12 questions
Is VENMAR a scam?

We found no evidence that it is. Its Seychelles licence is genuine and is recorded against the same website we investigated, and no regulator warning or client complaint names it. We still rate it high risk at 65 percent, because the operation is under three years old, has no verifiable public track record, and its website and client login portal were offline throughout our review.

Is VENMAR regulated?

Yes, but only offshore. Ven Mar Limited holds Securities Dealer licence SD188 from the Seychelles Financial Services Authority, and we confirmed the entry on the FSA's own register. It holds no licence from a major regulator such as the FCA, ASIC, CySEC or the SEC.

Why is the VENMAR website not loading?

Both www.venmarltd.com and the client portal at member.venmarltd.com fail with an invalid security certificate. We could not determine the reason from outside. It may be a lapsed certificate, or it may indicate the business is winding down. Either way, you should not deposit while the site is unreachable.

Can I withdraw my money from VENMAR?

We cannot confirm that withdrawals are being paid. We found no complaints about withdrawals, but we also found no reports from clients confirming successful payouts, and the login portal is currently unreachable. If you hold a balance, try to withdraw it now and keep written records of every request and reply.

Is my money safe with VENMAR?

A Seychelles Securities Dealer licence carries no investor compensation scheme. If the firm failed or refused to pay, there is no fund that would reimburse you and little realistic prospect of recovery through the regulator. Treat any money you send as money you could lose.

Who owns VENMAR?

The operating company is Ven Mar Limited, registered in Seychelles with company number 8435773-1 at Suite 3, Global Village, Jivan's Complex, Mont Fleuri, Mahe. The Seychelles company registry is not publicly searchable, so we could not identify the individual owners or directors.

How old is VENMAR?

The domain venmarltd.com was registered on 12 December 2023, making the operation about two years and eight months old. The firm itself says it began in 2023, which is consistent. We could not obtain an incorporation date for the company, so that figure should be treated as an upper bound.

What is a Seychelles FSA licence actually worth?

It is real supervision but weak in practice. The Seychelles FSA does license and monitor Securities Dealers, so the licence is not fake, but it is a tier-3 offshore permission with far lighter capital, conduct and client-money requirements than a UK or Australian licence, and no compensation scheme behind it.

Is VENMAR a clone of another broker?

No. We ran the clone test and it passed. The Seychelles FSA register records the website www.venmarltd.com against Ven Mar Limited, which is the same entity and the same domain we investigated. The licence number is not borrowed from another firm.

Why are there no reviews of VENMAR anywhere?

We checked Trustpilot, Reddit and Forex Peace Army and found nothing: Trustpilot has no page for the domain at all. A brokerage with a substantial client base usually leaves some public trace, so the total absence of one suggests the operation is very small. It also means there is no independent evidence that the service works.

Does VENMAR accept clients from the UK, Europe or the USA?

No. Its own terms state it does not provide services to residents of the USA, Iran, North Korea, Europe or the United Kingdom, among others. If someone solicits you from one of those countries in VENMAR's name, treat that as a serious warning sign.

What should I check before depositing with any broker like this?

Look up the licence number on the regulator's own register, not on the broker's website, and confirm the register lists the same web address you are being sent to. Check the age of the domain. Search for first-hand withdrawal reports. And never pay a fee, tax or charge to release your own funds.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Treat this as a high-risk, unproven offshore broker and do not commit money you cannot afford to lose.

  • Do not deposit while the website and the client login portal are unreachable. If you cannot log in, you cannot withdraw.
  • If you already hold a balance, try to withdraw it now and keep written records: dates, amounts, ticket numbers and every reply you receive.
  • Verify the licence yourself on the Seychelles FSA register of Securities Dealers before believing any claim made in an email or a chat message. The link is below.
  • Understand what the licence is worth. Seychelles is an offshore jurisdiction with no compensation scheme, so if the firm fails there is little practical route to recovering client money.
  • Never pay a tax, fee, commission or verification charge in order to release your own funds. No legitimate broker asks for that, and it is the clearest single sign of fraud.
  • If you have lost money, report it to the Seychelles Financial Services Authority as the licensing regulator, and to the financial regulator and police in your own country. Ignore anyone who contacts you offering to recover the funds for an upfront fee.
