VENMAR, also presented under the name Ventures Market, is a retail forex and CFD brand registered in the Seychelles and operating under the company name Ven Mar Limited. It holds a Derivatives Trading License (EP) from the Seychelles Financial Services Authority, licence number SD188, issued to the entity VEN MAR LLC. The brand dates from 2023, which makes it a young operation by industry standards.
The most important thing to know about VENMAR today is that its website does not work. At the time of this review, venmarltd.com returns an invalid SSL certificate error at the origin server and serves no content at all, on the root domain, without the www prefix, over plain HTTP, and behind a language prefix. That is not a temporary block on automated visitors; it is a broken server certificate, and it means a prospective client cannot open an account, read the terms, or reach a client portal. It also means none of the things a broker is normally judged on can be checked: there is no published spread schedule, no deposit or withdrawal policy, no list of restricted countries, no legal documents and no client agreement available to read.
Regulation. The Seychelles FSA licence is genuine and appears to be in force, and that counts for something. But it is an offshore, light-touch authorisation. The Seychelles regime carries no client-money compensation scheme, no negative-balance protection requirement and no deposit guarantee, and it permits leverage far above what onshore regulators allow. A Seychelles licence is not comparable to authorisation from a tier-one regulator, and it should not be read as one.
What is on offer. Two account tiers are on record: Standard, from a 30 USD minimum deposit with a 0.01 lot minimum trade size, and Professional, from 100 USD with a 0.1 lot minimum. Both are quoted at leverage up to 1:500 with no per-trade commission, so trading costs sit in the spread. Around 150 instruments are described across foreign exchange, US equities, commodities and energy. No trading platform is confirmed on record for this broker, which is unusual and worth noting: a retail broker that cannot be shown to offer a working platform has not demonstrated the basic thing it sells.
Corporate structure. Two entities appear behind one brand and they do not sit together comfortably. The company name given for the business is Ven Mar Limited in the Seychelles, while the entity named as the holder of the Seychelles licence is VEN MAR LLC, which is recorded as a limited liability company incorporated in Oregon, United States, number 61658598, on 3 December 2023. Neither entity could be confirmed against an official corporate register during this review.
Who this suits. At present, nobody. This is not a judgement about the licence, which is real; it is that a broker whose website does not load cannot be assessed, cannot be joined, and cannot be relied on to return money already deposited. Traders comparing offshore brokers should wait until the site is restored and the legal documents, funding terms and platform can actually be read, and traders who want statutory protection over their deposits should be looking at onshore-regulated firms instead.
Caveats. The commercial figures above are the values on record for this broker rather than terms confirmed against the broker's own published documents, because those documents are not currently reachable. The licence has no published effective or expiry date. Existing clients who cannot access their accounts should put any withdrawal request in writing to the broker and, if it is not met, raise the matter with the Seychelles Financial Services Authority, naming licence SD188.
