Finding

Membership of the Jakarta Futures Exchange, the licensed Indonesian futures exchange. It is an exchange membership rather than a licence to hold client money, and it is a precondition of trading listed Indonesian futures contracts. Client protection: Indirect: exchange rules and market supervision apply to trades executed on the exchange, but the membership itself does not protect your deposit..

JFX is classed as an offshore regime. An offshore registration can be entirely legitimate, but it typically means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.

Most Popular Questions

Only to the extent Indonesian rules require. The broker states that client funds are held in top-tier banks separate from its own, that it is a clearing member of PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia, and that SSL protects transactions. Its domestic framework does not carry the protections an onshore Tier 1 licence does: there is no investor compensation scheme covering trading losses if the firm fails, and no published negative balance protection, meaning a gap against a leveraged position could in principle leave you owing more than you deposited. No independently audited segregation statement is published. Do not deposit more than you can afford to lose.

The About page states the company was founded on 20 June 2000 and that Invetra 'has been a leading broker for more than 25 years'. Its licence numbers are consistent with an entity that existed then: the BAPPEBTI number ends in 2001 and the exchange membership number ends in 00. Against that, the Invetra brand itself, its website, its social accounts and its mobile apps are all recent, and we could not confirm the incorporation date on an official registry. The likeliest reading is a long-established Indonesian futures company trading under a new brand, but treat the 25 year figure as a company claim rather than a verified fact about the brand you would be dealing with.

We found nothing to support that. Invetra names a real legal entity, publishes a real office address in an identifiable Jakarta office tower, quotes two licence numbers that match that entity on the licence records we checked, and publishes a full contract specification table and a plain fee schedule, including the fees it charges you. Scams tend to hide the operator, avoid the fee schedule and never name a jurisdiction they refuse.

What it is not is fully verified. Its company registration could not be confirmed against an official Indonesian registry during this review, its regulation is domestic and low-tier rather than Tier 1, and several of its own claims contradict each other or its own pages: 1:500 leverage against 1:100 to 1:200 in the specifications, a $50 minimum against $100 in the help centre, a 25 year history against a brand with a very recent public footprint, and an uncited 'Best Broker A++' award. Our view is a legitimate-looking Indonesian broker that has not yet earned an unqualified verdict.

By telephone on +62 21 39526679, through the chatbot in the corner of the site, or via the contact form at the contact page, which offers service request, complaint and incident categories and promises a reply within 24 hours. A compliance address, compliance@invetra.com, is published in the anti-money-laundering document. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 17:00 Western Indonesia Time. That is a 35 hour week against a market that trades 24 hours a day, five days a week, so there is no cover if something goes wrong on your position overnight or at a weekend. No general support email address is published.

Probably not unless you are in Indonesia. Invetra's own footer states that PT Invetra Teknologi Berjangka does not provide services to residents of the United States, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Iran, North Korea and the European Union, and it prefixes that list with 'including but not limited to', so the published list is expressly incomplete. The client agreement adds a requirement that you are not resident in 'a country from which we do not accept clients' without naming those countries anywhere. Everything else about the offering, local BCA-only funding, IDR pricing, a Western Indonesia Time support window, points to an Indonesia-first business. Ask before you apply.

The accounts comparison table marks swap free as available on both the Standard and the Ultra Low account, and news trading is permitted on both. The fees page frames it differently, saying that traders in higher loyalty tiers unlock swap-free options, which suggests it may be conditional on your Rewards tier rather than automatic. The help centre refers to a 'swap free allowance'. Because the two pages do not agree, confirm with support whether swap-free applies to your account from the start and what the allowance is.

The published contract specifications cover 27 forex pairs (majors and crosses, no exotics), two spot metals (gold and silver), seven index CFDs (Nasdaq 100, FTSE 100, Dow Jones, DAX 40, Hang Seng, S&P 500 and Nikkei) and three energy commodities (Brent, US crude and natural gas). There are no share CFDs, no bonds and no cryptocurrency. Contract sizes are 100,000 on forex and lot sizes run from 0.1 to 50. Around 39 instruments in total is a narrow range by international standards, so check that what you want to trade is actually on the list.

MetaTrader 5 is the main platform, offered with charts carrying more than 80 technical indicators, a virtual private server option and the Trading Central and FX Blue plug-ins. Alongside it Invetra runs its own mobile app for Android and iOS, published on both app stores, and a browser portal for account management, deposits, withdrawals and the Rewards balance. MetaTrader 4 and cTrader are not offered. Both the app and MT5 support market, limit, stop, stop-limit, trailing-stop and good-til-cancelled orders.

Invetra does not publish a processing time for withdrawals anywhere on its site, and it does not commit to one. Its funding FAQ describes only the mechanics: log in, go to the Withdrawal tab, complete the steps. It also states there is no maximum withdrawal amount so long as you use the same method you deposited with. Because the broker makes no timing commitment, ask support for one in writing and test the route with a small amount before you commit real capital.

The only channel Invetra publishes is a bank transfer through BCA, Bank of Central Asia, in either IDR or USD. There are no cards, no e-wallets and no crypto. The broker charges a flat $3 fee on any deposit or withdrawal valued under $30 when converted, and nothing at $30 or above, while noting that your own payment provider may add its own charge. Withdrawals must go back to the method you deposited with, and if you hold open positions you must leave enough free margin to cover the withdrawal. No processing time is published for either direction, which is a gap worth asking about.

Two pricing models. The Standard account charges spreads from 1.7 pips plus $1 per lot round turn: EURUSD from 1.5, GBPUSD from 1.6, USDJPY from 2.0. The Ultra Low account charges spreads from 0.2 pips, with EURUSD quoted from 0.0, plus a much higher $8 per lot round turn. Spreads are variable, not fixed, and the figures published are minimums rather than averages. Gold is quoted from 43.2 and silver from 34 on the Standard account. Whether Ultra Low is cheaper depends entirely on how much you trade: the $7 per lot extra commission has to be earned back in spread.

The accounts page and every account tile advertise leverage up to 1:500. The broker's own contract specifications page, though, states 1:100 or 1:200 against every single instrument it lists, forex, metals, indices and commodities alike. Nothing on the site reconciles the two. Treat 1:100 to 1:200 as the figure you are most likely to actually get, and ask support in writing what leverage your account will be set to. Note also that high leverage multiplies losses as fast as gains.

The accounts comparison table gives $50 for the Standard account and $100 for the Ultra Low account. However, the help centre's funding FAQ states that 'our minimum initial deposit amount is $100'. The two figures contradict each other, so confirm the real entry price with support before you transfer money. Subsequent deposits can be any amount and the broker states there is no maximum.

Invetra is the trading brand of PT Invetra Teknologi Berjangka, an Indonesian company that publishes Business Identification Number (NIB) 9120207172686 and a registered address at Menara Rajawali, 23rd Floor, Jl. Dr. Ide Anak Agung Gde Agung Lot #5.1, Kuningan Timur, Setiabudi, South Jakarta. The same entity name appears in the footer, in every legal document and on both licence records, which is the consistency you want to see. No parent company, group structure or named directors are disclosed on the site, and we were unable to confirm the registration number against an official Indonesian company registry during this review.

Yes, domestically. Invetra states on its own website that PT Invetra Teknologi Berjangka is authorised and supervised by Indonesia's Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (BAPPEBTI) under futures broker licence 109/BAPPEBTI/SI/IV/2001, that it is a Jakarta Futures Exchange member under SPPKB-002/BBJ/09/00, and that it is a clearing member of PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia under 11/AK-KBI/VIII/2001. Both trading licences carry the same legal entity name that operates the site, and both were checked against a licence certificate showing the number, the jurisdiction and an active status.

Two things to be clear about. This is domestic Indonesian supervision built around Indonesian residents, not an international licence, and it is a weaker framework than a Tier 1 regime: no negative balance protection requirement, no compensation scheme for trading losses. And the clearing membership is a clearing arrangement, not a third trading licence, even though the About page counts three. Verify both licence numbers with the Indonesian authorities before you fund anything.

Licence SPPKB-002/BBJ/09/00 was issued by Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX), the financial authority for Indonesia.
Invetra holds this JFX licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
We located this entry on the JFX register. Note that confirming a register ENTRY is not the same as confirming a live licence — the register’s own wording on this page is what states its current standing.
Wikilix rates JFX tier 3. Supervision is lighter-touch and client protections vary.
Yes, JFX is classed as an offshore regime. That can be a legitimate registration, but it usually means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.
This page links straight to the JFX register. Search it for SPPKB-002/BBJ/09/00, and for the name Invetra rather than the trading brand.
Invetra has one other licence on record with Wikilix, across one jurisdiction. They are listed further down this page.
