Payout Policy

Profit withdrawal rules and schedules

Up to N/A Split

Payouts are released on a Profit Sharing Day in the Trader Stage. The date is set by default 30 days after the trader's first trade, and the trader can bring it forward to as early as 2 days after that first trade or push it out to 60 days.

  • Settlement. On the profit sharing date all open trades are closed and settled automatically. A withdrawal can only be made once every trade has settled.
  • Account in loss. If the account sits in a loss position on the profit sharing date, the date is rescheduled 7 days later.
  • Cycle. After a completed withdrawal the next profit sharing date is set 30 days later by default. The date can be moved up to 3 times within any 30 day period.
  • Frequency cap. A trader may request at most 2 payouts every 30 days on the same challenge, and up to 5 across different challenges. Once a trader reaches 10 or more payouts in total, the limit becomes 1 payout per month.
  • Processing. Requests are processed and credited within 24 hours of being submitted on or after the Profit Sharing Day.
  • Method. Rewards are paid in USDT. Supported networks are TRC20, ERC20 and BEP20, and the network fee is deducted from the withdrawal amount.
  • Instant Funding. The first payout can be requested at any time with no minimum profit. From the second payout onward the account must reach 5% profit, and a request made earlier is held until that target is met.
  • Fee refund. Two Step Evaluation traders receive their challenge activation fee back alongside their third withdrawal. This applies to individually purchased Two Step Evaluations and not to promotional accounts.
  • Forfeiture. A challenge that has been disqualified at any point is not eligible for any profit withdrawal or fee refund.
  • Identity checks. Traders reaching 10,000 USD or more in cumulative profit must complete KYC verification before any further withdrawal is processed.

Commission Structure

Trading fees by asset class

Bitfunded charges a flat trading fee on both sides of a position, applied the same way on every instrument and in every stage.

  • Opening a trade: 0.04% of the total position size.
  • Closing a trade: 0.04% of the total position size.

There is no separate activation fee when a trader reaches the Trader Stage, and no monthly or subscription charge. The challenge fee is paid once at purchase.

Withdrawals carry a network fee that is deducted from the amount paid out and varies with the network chosen. The published defaults are 2 USDT on TRC20, 5 USDT on ERC20 and 1 USDT on BEP20. Bitfunded notes these track the estimated network transaction cost and can move with network congestion.

Must Follow

Bitfunded does not cap the share of profit a single day may contribute, but it does review exposure and profit concentration before a payout is released, and both can reduce the amount paid.

Excessive risk concentration. Traders are expected to avoid concentrating account margin into a single trade or into several highly correlated positions. Allocating the majority of account margin to one trade, or opening several positions with excessive combined exposure, is treated as All In behaviour. The firm's worked example: a trader on a 10,000 USDT account opening four positions of 2,000 USDT at the same time is using 80% of total account exposure, which counts as excessive.

Payout penalties on Two Step and One Step accounts, by proportion of account exposure used:

  • 65% to 74%: 50% payout penalty
  • 75% to 89%: 60% payout penalty
  • 90% to 95%: 65% payout penalty
  • 96% to 100%: 70% payout penalty

On Instant Funding Evaluation accounts the bands start lower:

  • 55% to 64%: 50% payout penalty
  • 65% to 74%: 55% payout penalty
  • 75% to 89%: 60% payout penalty
  • 90% to 95%: 65% payout penalty
  • 96% to 100%: 70% payout penalty

Profit concentration limit, Instant Funding only. No single trading pair may account for 60% or more of total net profit in the payout period. Concentration is measured as a pair's net profit divided by the account's total net profit. If one pair reaches 60% or more, a 50% penalty is applied to the withdrawable profit at payout review.

General risk review. If restricted trading practices are identified during payout review, a 50% penalty is applied to the profit withdrawable from the trader's entitled 80%. Repeated violations may lead to further account limitations or payout restrictions.

Prop Trading Rules

Trading conditions and rules for prop accounts

0 Rules

Bitfunded accounts are built for active trading rather than long term holding, and the same conduct rules apply across the Two Steps, One Step and Instant Funding programs.

  • Maximum position holding duration. Positions may not stay open beyond the limit for the asset category: 10 days for major crypto assets (top 10 by market capitalisation), 7 days for minor crypto assets, and 5 days for traditional trading pairs such as XAU, XAG and TSLA. Positions may therefore be carried overnight and across weekends inside those windows.
  • Maximum simultaneous open trades. A trader may hold at most 5 open positions at once across all instruments, regardless of asset type, direction, correlation, or whether the positions sit on the same or different assets.
  • Hedging and market manipulation. Opening opposite positions on the same asset is not permitted. Neither is coordinated trading across multiple accounts, exploiting pricing or execution inefficiencies, or abusing platform systems and trading mechanics.
  • Copy and multi account trading. Each user may operate only one account identity. Coordinated trading across accounts is treated as manipulation, so running the same strategy across several accounts is not allowed.
  • Minimum trading activity. Each stage period tied to a payout request needs at least 2 closed trades, or 3 closed trades on Instant Funding accounts. Every qualifying trade must stay open for at least 10 minutes and reflect genuine trading activity.
  • Trading style. Bitfunded publishes no restriction on trading around news events, and states that over 100 crypto pairs are available with no restrictions on trading style or strategy.
  • Stage progression. All positions must be closed before a stage counts as complete. Only realised profit from closed positions counts towards a profit target.

Firm Rules

Guidelines and restrictions for funded accounts

0 Rules

Outside the loss limits themselves, these are the conditions that decide whether a Bitfunded account stays alive and whether its results count.

  • Daily reset. The daily loss limit resets at 00:00 UTC+8. Because of the platform's settlement process the reset can take effect between 00:00 and 00:10 UTC+8. Profit made on one day does not carry into the next, so a floating loss carried past midnight counts against the new day's limit.
  • Loss limits include open trades. Both the daily and the overall loss figures are calculated as realised loss plus the floating loss of open positions. An account fails automatically the moment an open position takes either figure past its limit, without waiting for the trade to be closed.
  • Rules continue after funding. Traders in the Trader Stage must keep observing the daily and total loss limits. A breach disqualifies the account and the trader has to buy a new challenge.
  • Realised profit only. Floating profit is never counted towards a profit target, and all positions must be closed before a stage is credited as passed. Profit cannot be rolled over during the challenge stages; rollover is available only in the Trader Stage.
  • One identity per user. Creating or operating multiple account profiles to get around platform rules, abuse challenge conditions or manipulate payouts is not permitted. Bitfunded reviews signals of account linkage such as shared or inconsistent IP addresses, devices and networks.
  • Multiple purchases. There is no limit on how many challenges a user may buy, whether of the same or different types. In the Trader Stage only one ongoing challenge per level is permitted at a time.
  • Stage handover. After the objectives of a stage are met, new account credentials for the following stage are issued in roughly 2 business days.
