Broker Summary

What Wikilix has recorded about Capital Trader: its history, the licences it holds, its trading conditions and its fees.

Introduction

Capital Traders is an online broker that allegedly provides access to worldwide financial markets including the forex, commodity, index futures, and stock markets through one account. The Capital Trader's website claims to offer numerous benefits, including support in multiple languages, extensive trading tools, various account types, and has received awards.

Capital Traders' website appears to be extremely upscale, and the company indicates it offers multiple accounts and tradable assets however, according to independent sources and consumer reviews, there is no confirmed information regarding the corporation’s history, management or any legitimate range of credentials for operation available. Capital Traders appears to have formed as a brand relatively recently through an internet domain registration in mid-2024, and there are no published regulatory documentation available on official oversight authority sites.

Capital Traders…does not have oversight by a Government financial regulatory body (e.g. the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), nor have the broker’s website verified these claims the regulatory bodies have given. The UK FCA has issued a public warning regarding Capital Traders offering regulated services without having the appropriate registration/documentation.

As a consequence, Capital Traders is not covered by any regulatory authority, investor insurance, or regulated protection of client funds.

Trading Instruments and Services & Account Types & Conditions

There is a difference between a broker's marketing material and the trading products that the broker has to offer. Capital Traders provide information on their website regarding many different types of trading products available for traders in various markets including: Forex Currency Pairs, Commodities, Synthetic Indices, and Stock Indices. There is no verifiable evidence or anything on the website that proves that Capital Traders provides any type of Active Trading Services or the Leverage or Spreads offered on those products.

In the marketing materials, Capital Traders have listed various types of accounts available such as Micro Accounts, Premium Accounts, and PAMM Accounts. There are minimum deposits that must be made to open these accounts. Micro Accounts, Premium Accounts and PAMM Accounts are the most commonly listed types of accounts available from Capital Traders. There are also no standard names for the minimum deposit amounts, maximum leverage amounts, or the fees associated with these account types listed on the Capital Traders website or from Independent Broker Reviews to confirm the conditions were accurate according to the Financial Regulatory Bodies that Capital Traders is regulated by.

Trading Platforms & Trading Technology According to Capital Traders, they provide a Robust Trading Platform that is easy to use and navigate when trading on; however, there are no sources that confirm that Capital Traders will support Professional Trading Platforms and Software, such as MT4 and MT5. Third Party Findings from Investigations found that it was unclear how to substantiate the Technology of Capital Traders to validate their Trading Technologies and Trading Environments; these situations are typical amongst Unregulated or High-Risk Brokers.

Independent Research Findings vs Advertised Claims The Independent Research found numerous discrepancies between the Advertising Materials of Capital Traders. The Independent Research found Multiple False Claims that Capital Traders has made, including: Global Regulation, Multi-Asset, 24/5 Supported Languages, and Multiple Account Types (including Micro, Premium, and PAMM Accounts). Below are examples of the Independent Research Findings:

Conclusion

Most Industry Professionals view Capital Traders as High-Risk or Potentially Fraudulent Brokers. The Warning Records for Regulatory Agencies and Independent Sites used for Broker Reviews show that Capital Traders does not currently possess any Verified Regulatory Licenses issued by Recognised Regulatory Authorities and therefore, Capital Traders is not permitted to offer any Financial Services within the Major Global Financial Jurisdictions. Capital Traders were Blacklisted and warned by at least one European Authority for illegally offering Financial Services. Many individuals who have used Capital Traders have reported negative experiences where Users lost money, were prohibited from withdrawing their own money, and experienced repeated solicitations by Capital Traders to purchase something unsolicited. In addition, the Scores provided by Independent Trust and Scam Detection sites indicate that there are high chances that Capital Traders will Steal Your Information and use it to commit Phishing and other Criminal Activities.

All traders are strongly encouraged to proceed with caution if considering trading with Capital Traders, and to practise best trading practices and perform all Due Diligence before selecting a Broker, and should always trade with Brokers who have Validated their Regulatory Licenses and completed a Client Protection Framework.
