Connect Financials is a retail forex and CFD brand operated under the name Connect Financials Ltd, trading through the website connectfinancials.com. The brand promotes a single MetaTrader 5 offering across roughly 200 instruments, covering major and minor currency pairs, commodities, indices and cryptocurrencies, with a headline minimum deposit of 100 USD and a maximum leverage of 1:100 on every account tier.
Regulation is the central problem with this brand, and it is a serious one. The broker's own website makes two different and irreconcilable regulatory claims. The footer and the About page state that Connect Financials Ltd is registered in Seychelles under licence SD244 and is authorised by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority, describing it as a Securities Dealer Licence. The Trading Accounts page of the same website instead states that the regulatory authority is the Comoros Financial Services Authority, gives the licence number HY00523008 as an Investment Dealer Licence, and lists the company's headquarters as Bonovo Road, Fomboni, Island of Moheli, Union of Comoros. A broker that publishes two different regulators, two different licence numbers and two different head offices on the same website has not demonstrated supervision under either. WIKILIX was not able to confirm that any of these licences exists or is in force, and the homepage's separate claim of FSCS protection is not supported by anything the broker publishes.
Accounts and costs. Three live tiers are advertised, all at the same 100 USD minimum deposit and 1:100 leverage: a Standard account with spreads from 1 pip and medium commissions, a Raw account with spreads from 0.5 pips on a commission-based model, and a Plus account with spreads from 1 pip and low commissions. A free demo account with 10,000 USD of virtual funds is also offered, and swap-free trading is advertised. No per-lot commission figure, swap table or full fee schedule is published anywhere on the site, so the real cost of trading cannot be established before depositing.
Funding. Five channels are listed: Visa, Mastercard, the Whish Payment wallet, USDT on the TRC20 and ERC20 networks, and bank transfer. Card and wallet deposits are described as instant and free, USDT as one to ten minutes with network fees, and bank transfer as one to three business days with possible bank charges. Withdrawal fees, minimums, maximums and processing times are not published.
Support and offices. Live chat is offered on the site alongside general and support email addresses and a Cyprus telephone number, with the broker describing support as 24 hours a day, five days a week. Addresses are given in Mahe (Seychelles), Nicosia and Limassol (Cyprus), and Fomboni (Comoros), and the two Cyprus addresses contradict one another between pages. Public social channels are maintained in both English and Arabic.
Who it suits, and the caveats. On the evidence available, Connect Financials is not a broker that can be recommended to anyone who needs certainty that their deposits are supervised. The corporate story does not hold together: no company registration number is published, no entity of this name appears on the Cyprus companies register, and no Legal Entity Identifier exists for it. Marketing figures also conflict, with the site variously claiming 50,000, 100,000, 10,000 and 3,000 clients and both 200 and 5,000 tradable instruments, and a founding year of 2015 that the brand's own operating footprint does not support. Anyone considering an account here should treat the regulatory claims as unproven and size any deposit accordingly.
