Broker Summary
Summary of the broker
IDFX is the trading brand of PT. IDFX Futures Internasional, an Indonesian futures brokerage operating from Jl. Danau Sunter Utara Blok A36D, Kav No. 37, Jakarta Utara 14350. It is a domestically focused broker: its official website is published in Indonesian only, its client portal serves Indonesian clients, and its permissions authorise it to serve residents of Indonesia rather than an international audience.
Regulation. Two Indonesian permissions are on record. The first is a Forex Trading License (EP) numbered 006/BAPPEBTI/SI/12/2024, issued by Indonesia's commodity futures regulator to PT. IDFX FUTURES INTERNASIONAL and covering foreign exchange, futures and financial derivatives trading. The second is a Derivatives Trading License (AGN) numbered SPAB/192/BBJ/11/2024, a broker membership of the Jakarta Futures Exchange covering futures trading. Both are shown as in force and both name the same operating company that the website names, which is the consistency a reader should want. The broker's own footer describes it as licensed and supervised by OJK, Indonesia's financial services authority, and it publishes supporting documents on its site. This is genuine domestic regulation, but it is domestic: Indonesian futures permissions are built around segregated local accounts and local dispute resolution for local residents, and they carry none of the cross-border investor-compensation protection that a European or UK licence would give a foreign client.
Platforms and offering. Trading is on MetaTrader 5, provided under a white-label arrangement with the trading server hosted in Indonesia. Alongside it the broker offers a browser-based demo platform and the JaFeTS NOW mobile application for iOS, with an Android build described as forthcoming. Demo and live accounts are both offered through the client portal.
What the broker does not publish. IDFX does not put its commercial terms in front of a prospective client. There is no published account-tier comparison, no spread or commission schedule, no stated minimum deposit, no leverage figure, and no deposit and withdrawal table with fees, limits or processing times. Several of the site's own pages, including its legality, segregated-account and privacy documents, were not retrievable during this review. A trader therefore cannot compare IDFX on price or funding terms without opening the account first, which is a meaningful transparency gap rather than a sign of wrongdoing.
Restrictions. The site states it does not serve residents of the United States, North Korea, Iran, countries of the African continent, or any other jurisdiction where doing so would breach local law.
Who it suits. Indonesian residents who want a locally licensed and locally supervised futures broker on MetaTrader 5, and who are content to obtain pricing directly. It is not a fit for international traders, who are largely outside its permitted market and would be relying on a domestic framework not designed for them. As with any operator only recently licensed, prospective clients should confirm current terms, fees and withdrawal handling in writing before funding an account.
