NFA Member Approved, CFTC Registered as an Introducing Broker

Finding

A CFTC registration and NFA membership as an introducing broker. Four group entities appear on NFA BASIC: Market Securities Dubai Limited (0499649, registered September 2017, with no regulatory actions), Kyte Broking Limited trading as Market Securities Division (0288293, known to the NFA since 1998), Market Securities LLC (0496443) and Market Securities France SA (0562000). An introducing broker solicits and accepts orders but does not itself carry customer accounts or hold customer funds. Client protection: Strong oversight of US futures and swaps intermediation by the CFTC and NFA, including arbitration access, though an introducing broker does not hold customer funds. Effective: 29 Sep 2017.

About this NFA licence

What this authorisation is, what it establishes, and what it leaves open.

Market Securities Dubai Limited, the group's DIFC company, is carried on BASIC, the public register of the National Futures Association (NFA), under NFA ID 0499649, and was shown as NFA Member Approved at this check, registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as an Introducing Broker. The entry belongs to the Dubai company, not to the Market Securities brand as a whole or to the group's New York broker-dealer.

NFA is not a government agency. It is the self-regulatory organisation for the United States derivatives industry, and BASIC shows both CFTC registrations administered through NFA and NFA's own membership. An introducing broker solicits or accepts orders but does not hold customer funds. This registration is not permission to deal with United States retail forex customers.

This check read NFA membership, Introducing Broker registration and Swap Firm approval all effective 29 September 2017, a business address at Index Tower, West, 27th Floor, Office 2702, in the Dubai International Financial Centre, a telephone number matching the Dubai office on the firm's contact page, and the trading names Alt224 Capital, Bridge Global Markets, Neocap Global Markets and Stellar Securities. It showed no NFA, CFTC or exchange actions.

A reader can repeat the check by searching BASIC at nfa.futures.org for NFA ID 0499649. The answer would change if membership were withdrawn or an end date appeared against the Introducing Broker registration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about this licence

Answered from this register entry and the authority’s own record.

Most Popular Questions

The firm publishes no pricing at all: there is no spread, commission or fee schedule anywhere on its site, and no financing or account charges are listed. That is consistent with an institutional execution business, where terms are agreed directly with each counterparty rather than published. Anyone quoting a Market Securities spread or commission figure is not taking it from the firm.

No protection arrangement covers a retail client here, because the firm holds no retail accounts. The FCA register entry for its UK principal firm, Kyte Broking Limited, states that the firm cannot hold and cannot control client money, and its permissions are limited to eligible counterparty and professional customers. Only the group's US arm makes a protection claim: Market Securities, LLC states that it is a member of SIPC and that client accounts are carried by its clearing firm on a fully disclosed basis. The firm publishes no client money or segregation statement for its UK, French or Dubai entities, although the DFSA register shows the Dubai company holds an endorsement for holding or controlling client assets. A complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service or a claim on the Financial Services Compensation Scheme is open only to a client who meets those schemes' own eligibility rules.

It means the company operating the website is not authorised by the FCA in its own right. An appointed representative may carry on regulated business only under the responsibility of an authorised principal firm, and the firm names Kyte Broking Limited as that principal, so the principal rather than the appointed representative answers to the regulator for the business conducted under the arrangement. Kyte Broking Limited's own authorisation is confirmed on the FCA register under firm reference 174863. The FCA register also lists Market Securities LLP under reference 519097 with the status Appointed representative since 3 March 2010, giving market-securities.com as its website and OC325844 as its company number.

Its headquarters is at 55 Baker Street, London W1U 8EW, which is also the registered office recorded at Companies House for both Market Securities LLP and Kyte Broking Limited. It publishes further offices in New York, Paris, Geneva, Dubai, Hong Kong, Monaco and Madrid, each with a street address, and the group's registered companies in those jurisdictions are all active on official registers.

Market Securities dates itself to 2008: its own history page says the firm was established that year, when Kyte Equity Derivatives became Market Securities LLP. UK Companies House records the partnership as incorporated on 10 February 2007 under the name Kyte Equity Derivatives LLP, which it kept until 23 March 2009, and shows it as active. Its principal firm, Kyte Broking Limited, has been registered since 20 January 1993, and the firm's history traces the Kyte business back to 1985 on the LIFFE floor.

Through the business enquiry form and address on , or by telephoning an office directly: +44 (0)203 925 8300 in London, +1 917 924 9811 in New York, +33 1 70 99 52 00 in Paris, +971 4 374 1300 in Dubai and +41 21 787 2924 in Geneva. The general enquiry address is Business_development@market-securities.com. There is no live chat and no published support hours.

The firm names no accepted or restricted countries anywhere on its site. Its disclaimer says only that the website is not intended for use by anyone in a jurisdiction where that would be contrary to local law or regulatory requirements, which names no country. Because there is no onboarding form, there is also no country selector to indicate which jurisdictions it will take on.

The question does not arise in the retail sense, because the firm publishes no deposit or withdrawal channel and holds no retail client accounts. In the United States, group company Market Securities, LLC states that client accounts are carried by its clearing firm, RBC Clearing and Custody, on a fully disclosed basis rather than by Market Securities itself.

The firm publishes no leverage figure, and no retail leverage applies because it offers no retail accounts. Its disclaimer does warn generally that investments in securities and financial instruments, including futures, options and contracts for difference, can lose value and may create additional liabilities.

Its published capabilities span equities, including cash equities, derivatives, convertibles and risk arbitrage; rates, with futures and options focused on short term rates, interest rate swaps and repo; credit, covering distressed and investment grade with emerging market and corporate bond repo; foreign exchange from vanilla to exotics; commodities across exchange traded and OTC oil, softs, metals and minerals, plus digital asset derivatives; and structured products. These are institutional execution services, not a retail instrument list.

None is published. The site names no MetaTrader, cTrader or proprietary platform, and offers no download or web terminal. Execution is described as a service delivered by trading teams to institutional counterparties rather than through a self-service platform.

The firm publishes none, because it does not take retail deposits. There is no client account, no funding page and no deposit channel of any kind on the site. Any figure quoted elsewhere as a Market Securities minimum deposit does not come from the firm.

Only as a professional or institutional client. Market Securities offers no retail account and no public online sign-up: the site has no registration or account-opening page, and its only form is a business enquiry form on . Its UK terms of business say Kyte Broking Limited treats each client as a Professional Client or an Eligible Counterparty and cannot provide its brokerage services to anyone who asks to be treated as a Retail Client, and the Dubai disclosure limits Market Securities (Dubai) Limited to Professional Clients and Market Counterparties.

Onboarding runs through the firm's account onboarding team. To use the Kyte Broking trading venue, a client completes an Express Consent Request and the OTF Membership Agreement, is given a client classification, and reviews the terms of business and order execution policy; the venue rulebook says the application pack is available on request from tradingagreements@kytebroking.com, and the venue pages give Global-Onboarding@market-securities.com for queries. The Dubai disclosure adds that the firm must identify and verify each person or company that opens an account, asking for a name, an address and an identification number, and may not open the account until that is done.

The website is operated by Market Securities LLP, a UK limited liability partnership registered under number OC325844 at 55 Baker Street, London W1U 8EW. The Global LEI record places it and the group's UK principal firm, Kyte Broking Limited, under a common parent, Market Securities Group Limited, a Hong Kong company formed in 2018.

Nothing we found points that way, and our published scam check reads appears legitimate. The firm's regulatory claims hold up on the regulators' own registers: the FCA lists Kyte Broking Limited (174863) as authorised and Market Securities LLP (519097) as its appointed representative, the DFSA lists Market Securities (Dubai) Limited (F002425), the ACPR lists Market Securities (France) SA (CIB 13483), FINRA lists Market Securities, LLC (CRD 283701), and the NFA lists the Dubai company (NFA ID 0499649) as an introducing broker. Companies House has recorded the operating partnership since 10 February 2007 and its principal, Kyte Broking Limited, since 20 January 1993. It is not a retail broker: the UK and Dubai permissions reach professional clients and eligible or market counterparties only, and the firm offers no retail account, so a private individual offered a personal trading account under this name should confirm it with the firm directly.

Yes, through companies in its group rather than through the partnership that runs the website. The Financial Conduct Authority's register lists Kyte Broking Limited under firm reference 174863 as authorised since 1 December 2001, and lists Market Securities LLP, the operator of market-securities.com, under reference 519097 as an appointed representative since 3 March 2010; the firm's disclaimer names Kyte Broking Limited as its principal. The UK permissions reach eligible counterparty and professional customers only, and the firm cannot hold or control client money. Outside the UK, the Dubai Financial Services Authority lists Market Securities (Dubai) Limited under F002425, licensed since 9 January 2014, with no endorsement for retail clients; the ACPR lists Market Securities (France) SA under CIB 13483 since 23 August 2019; FINRA lists Market Securities, LLC as a member broker-dealer under CRD 283701; and the NFA lists the Dubai company as an introducing broker under NFA ID 0499649.

Licence 0499649 was issued by National Futures Association (NFA), the financial authority for United States.
Market Securities holds this NFA licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
We located this entry on the NFA register. Note that confirming a register ENTRY is not the same as confirming a live licence — the register’s own wording on this page is what states its current standing.
The NFA register prints it under MARKET SECURITIES DUBAI LIMITED, not Market Securities. Licences are often held by a subsidiary rather than the trading brand, which is why searching a register for the brand alone can return nothing.
Wikilix rates NFA tier 1 — the strictest band, with high capital requirements, segregated client money and a compensation scheme.
This page links straight to the NFA register. Search it for 0499649, and for the name MARKET SECURITIES DUBAI LIMITED rather than the trading brand.
