MetaGold caps a withdrawal at one working day in its English and Hindi contracts. The Persian and Arabic versions of the same clause say a payout may take longer, with no limit. Those are the two languages it writes separate contracts in. MetaGold can also hold any withdrawal until the obstacle is resolved if a bank or a sanction gets in the way, and its contract lets a loss run past your balance into a debt it can demand from you.

What the documents say

36 clauses worth knowing about, worst first, each quoted from METAGOLD's own files

01

MetaGold promises to pay a withdrawal within one working day in its English and Hindi documents. The Persian and Arabic versions of the same clause tell you the payout may take longer than that, and set no limit at all.

Why this matters

Reading the Persian or Arabic contract, you never learn a deadline exists, so you have nothing to hold MetaGold to when a payout drags. Persian and Arabic are the two languages MetaGold writes separate contracts in.

Exhibit 1CriticalRarely seen1 working days

Withdrawal instructions execution time depends on the currency, payment method and time of instruction receipt, but shall not exceed one working day from the instruction receipt.
Clause 3.7 in TRANSFER AND WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Read from the broker's site on Open the reference
Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC must give retail clients terms that are clear, fair and not misleading, and that duty covers every language version they publish. MetaGold's English clause 3.7 caps a withdrawal at one working day. Its Persian and Arabic clause 3.7 says the payout may take more than one working day.

METAGOLD is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 3The deadline you cannot read in your own language can only be enforced through a complaint MetaGold requires in English, at your expense.
  • Worse together with Exhibit 2Even the English deadline gives way to a separate clause letting MetaGold hold a payout with no end date.
02

A banking problem, a sanction or trouble on the payment network lets MetaGold hold your withdrawal until the obstacle is resolved. No document says how long that can run.

Why this matters

Your money can sit with MetaGold for as long as the obstacle lasts and the contract is still being kept. MetaGold pays fiat withdrawals through PAYA, Iran's domestic bank settlement system, so a banking or sanctions problem is an everyday risk rather than a rare one.

Exhibit 2CriticalHarder than usual

In exceptional circumstances, such as banking issues, sanctions, or disruptions in the payment network, the Company reserves the right to delay withdrawals until the obstacle is resolved and will notify the client via email.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC must hold client money so it can be returned promptly on request, and a payout cannot be parked indefinitely on the firm's own say-so. MetaGold's clause 6.5 lets it delay a withdrawal until the obstacle is resolved, with no outer limit and no appeal.

METAGOLD is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 3A delay with no end date cannot be appealed to anyone outside MetaGold, because the complaints policy offers no independent body.
03

Complaints have to reach MetaGold in English. Write in your own language and MetaGold accepts it, but you pay the translation costs yourself and the answer comes back in English.

Why this matters

You pay to be heard in a language you may not read, about money that is already yours. If the answer is no, the only escalation MetaGold offers is the same email address that just refused you.

Exhibit 3CriticalHarder than usual

Complaints must be submitted in English, being a language used by the Company to market its services or communicate with clients. If you provide your complaint in another language, we accept it, but all translation costs will be borne by complainant, and answer will be in English.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC must give a retail client free access to an independent complaints body, the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Ombudsman of Cyprus, once the firm's own answer disappoints them. MetaGold's complaints policy names no body outside MetaGold, and its only escalation route is back to the same email address.

METAGOLD is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 6A promise about your money that appears only on a web page has no independent body you can take it to.
04

Market moves can take your account below zero, and MetaGold can then demand you pay the shortfall in. You get no negative balance protection, the feature that stops a loss going past what you deposited.

In plain words

Negative balance protection is a limit that stops you owing more than you put in. Without it, one fast market move can leave you owing the broker money on top of your deposit.

Why this matters

You can finish owing MetaGold money you never paid in. MetaGold can also take the shortfall out of your account first and ask you for the rest afterwards, without needing your authorisation.

Exhibit 4CriticalHarder than usual

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus), ASIC (Australia), ESMA (EU)

Firms licensed by the FCA, CySEC or ASIC must give retail clients negative balance protection on leveraged trades, so a loss can never exceed the money in the account. MetaGold's risk disclosure says the opposite, and its client agreement lets MetaGold demand the missing money from you.

METAGOLD is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 11The commodity loan creates the same debt by a second route, where a shortfall after your gold is sold becomes cash owed in three business days.
05

The contract says you can withdraw from USD 10. MetaGold's own payments page sets the minimum at 100 USDT for crypto, card and Perfect Money, and your withdrawal method has to match the way you paid in.

Why this matters

A balance under 100 USDT can be stranded. You cannot take it out by the method you deposited with, and the contract stops you switching to a bank transfer instead.

06

MetaGold's transparency page says it keeps your money in separate accounts from its own. No document you agree to mentions segregation, and the client agreement lets MetaGold seize funds under its control that belong to you.

Why this matters

A promise on a web page is not a term of your contract. MetaGold also says that balances with no trading activity sit in its own bank accounts, which is exactly where your money would be caught if the company failed.

Exhibit 6CriticalHarder than usual

MetaGold adheres to the principle of segregating client funds from the company's operational accounts; client funds are held in separate accounts, preventing any commingling with the company's operational resources.
Clause Segregation of client funds in Transparency Statement: Legal Identity, Regulatory Framework, and Clarification of the MetaGold Name
Read from the broker's site on Open the reference
Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC must hold retail client money in trust accounts separate from company funds, say so in the client agreement, and belong to a compensation scheme that pays out if the firm fails. MetaGold makes the promise on two marketing pages, in none of its thirteen legal documents, and names no compensation scheme anywhere.

METAGOLD is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Same clause as Exhibit 7The seizure clause is what makes the segregation promise hollow: money MetaGold describes as separate is money it may take at a figure it sets.

Profit, balance and the debt that can follow a loss

MetaGold can cancel trades it judges irrational, unusual or suspicious at its sole discretion, and no document defines those words. Where it decides your activity involves money laundering, it can seize funds it controls and set its own compensation figure. A loss can also pass your balance, and MetaGold can take the shortfall from your account and demand the rest from you.

Money already yours2 clauses flagged

If MetaGold decides your activity is linked to money laundering, it can withhold or seize any of your funds it controls. You then owe MetaGold its legal, reputational and financial losses, at a figure MetaGold calculates.

Why this matters

Nobody outside MetaGold checks the amount, and there is no cap on it. The judgement that triggers all of this can be MetaGold's own, before any authority has looked at your account.

Exhibit 7CriticalRarely seen

Clause Money laundering, 3 in Client Agreement
Read from the broker's site on Open the reference

Trades MetaGold judges irrational, unusual or suspicious can be cancelled at its sole discretion. No document defines any of those three words.

Why this matters

A winning trade can be undone after it closes, and the test is MetaGold's opinion rather than a rule you could have followed. Trades outside what MetaGold calls the authorized ranges can be cancelled too.

The promises change with the language you read them in

MetaGold caps a withdrawal at one working day in English and in Hindi, and the Persian and Arabic versions of that clause say a payout may take longer, with no limit. Its Persian page calls MetaGold supervised by international bodies while the English page does not. The slippage guarantee promises full compensation during market volatility, and the guarantee's own page excludes extreme or abnormal market volatility.

Language arbitrage3 clauses flagged

MetaGold's glossary page guarantees that any loss from negative slippage during market volatility will be fully compensated. Its own guarantee page then excludes extreme or abnormal market volatility, and pays only if MetaGold approves the case.

Why this matters

The conditions the promise names are the conditions the small print removes. You carry the slippage loss in exactly the fast market where you were told MetaGold would cover it.

MetaGold's Persian page calls it a regulated broker under the supervision of international bodies. The English version of the same panel drops the supervision claim, and no document names a body you could turn to.

Why this matters

MetaGold can hold any withdrawal until the obstacle is resolved where a bank, a sanction or the payment network gets in the way, with no outer limit. It pays fiat withdrawals through PAYA, Iran's domestic settlement system, so that is an everyday risk. Its payments page also sets a 100 USDT minimum withdrawal on three of four methods, ten times the USD 10 the contract states, and locks you to the method you deposited with.

Exit conditions3 clauses flagged

If your loan account runs down, MetaGold sells the gold you pledged. Any gap left over is a cash debt you must pay by direct deposit within three business days, or MetaGold can take legal action.

Why this matters

The loan is sold as free of interest and fees, and it still ends in a personal debt with a three day clock on it. You get 48 hours' notice before the sale, and you must fund half the loan amount to stop it.

Crypto withdrawals cost 0.3% with a minimum of $3. The smallest crypto withdrawal MetaGold allows is 100 USDT, so the minimum fee bites on every withdrawal at that size.

Getting verified, and getting paid, costs this client more

Withdrawals over USD 100 are released only after you notify a named support agent on WhatsApp or Telegram. Identity papers that are not in Latin characters need a notarised English translation you pay for, which falls on Iranian, Arabic and Indian clients and not on European ones. MetaGold also collects your photo, video and voice, and keeps account records for at least seven years after you close the account.

Verification cost3 clauses flagged

Withdrawals over USD 100 are only processed after final identity verification and after you notify your personal support agent on WhatsApp or Telegram.

Why this matters

Getting your own money out depends on reaching one person on a messaging app. No document says how long that agent has to answer you.

If your identity documents are not in Latin characters, MetaGold requires a notarised English translation to avoid delays in verification. You arrange it and you pay for it.

Why this matters

A notary costs money and time before you have traded anything. Iranian, Arabic and Indian clients carry a verification cost that a European client with a Latin-script passport never meets.

MetaGold's own policy cannot say whether it is your agent or your counterparty

MetaGold's order execution policy says you deal not with MetaGold but with the wider market, then says you must close each position with the same counterparty you opened it with, namely MetaGold. Its income is a mark-up inside the price you are obliged to accept, with no figure published. The transparency page lists a conflict of interest policy among MetaGold's controls, and no such policy appears among its thirteen documents.

In plain words

On a principal basis, as your counterparty, means the broker takes the other side of your trade itself. Your loss is then the firm’s gain, so it has an interest in how your trade ends.

Whose side is the broker on3 clauses flagged

MetaGold's order execution policy says it acts as your agent and that you deal with the wider market rather than with MetaGold. Four clauses later it says you must close every position with the same counterparty you opened it with, namely MetaGold.

Why this matters

Whether MetaGold profits when you lose is the single most important thing to know about a broker, and its own policy answers that question both ways. No conflict of interest policy is published to settle it.

Exhibit 28WarningHarder than usual

  • Worse together with Exhibit 29If MetaGold is your counterparty, the mark-up it adds to the price is money it makes directly from the other side of your trade.

MetaGold adds a mark-up to the rates it takes from outside feed providers, and the marked-up rate you see is where its income comes from. You are obliged to accept the prices MetaGold quotes.

Why this matters

The cost is inside the price rather than on a fee line, so you cannot see what you paid. MetaGold's own server is the only valid price source, and the risk disclosure tells you the quotes in your own terminal are not reliable.

MetaGold's pricing section says no orders are rejected if you have enough margin. The same policy then lists thirteen grounds for refusing or cancelling an order, the last being other reasons that could occur.

Why this matters

The promise is in the part of the document that sells the service and the exceptions are in the part that governs it. A ground worded as other reasons cannot be ruled out in advance.

Exhibit 30WarningHarder than usual

One Comoros licence, a rial deposit rail, and no scheme to claim from

MetaGold's only brokerage licence is number BFX2025136 from the Mwali International Services Authority in the Comoros; the Georgian entity is a company registration that runs the website. MetaGold takes deposits in Iranian rial and writes the consequences of not being permitted to contract onto the client. Its own transparency page explains that clients of an unauthorised firm get no ombudsman and no compensation scheme, and it names neither for itself.

Supervision and market2 clauses flagged

MetaGold takes deposits in Iranian rial and pays fiat withdrawals through PAYA, Iran's domestic settlement system. If you turn out not to be permitted to enter the agreement, the contract says you are at fault and must pay MetaGold's losses.

Why this matters

The sanctions risk of serving this market sits with you, not with MetaGold. Its own contract bars corporate clients from countries subject to international sanctions, while its deposit page lists rial first.

The documents this reading is based on

27 files, all published by METAGOLD. Each shows when we read it and a fingerprint of its wording.

WIKILIX keeps the copy of each file it read, and does not republish it: what is published is the fingerprint of its wording. Download the file yourself and hash its text, lowercased with runs of whitespace collapsed, and a matching fingerprint means the wording quoted above is still the wording METAGOLD publishes.

Who the contract is with

METAGOLD LLC

Your contract is with METAGOLD LLC in Georgia and METAGOLD LTD in the Comoros Union, joined in the opening line by 'and/or', so neither one is named as yours. MetaGold calls this a 'dual-entity framework' on its regulation page. Only the Comoros company holds a brokerage licence, number BFX2025136 from the Mwali International Services Authority. The Georgian company is a company registration at the Ministry of Justice, number 404651248, and it runs the website. The partner agreement names METAGOLD LLC alone, so introducing brokers are told which company they deal with and clients are not.

Quotations are copied verbatim from the documents named above, with the clause number and the page each one came from. Where a clause is quoted in another language, the original is shown first and the English is a translation.

The plain-language parts, what a clause means for a client, how ordinary it is, and how it reads against a regulated standard, are WIKILIX's analysis and are labelled as such on every card. This is a reading of public documents, not legal advice and not an allegation of wrongdoing.

Nothing moved. Every document MetaGold published at the previous review is still there unchanged, in English and in Persian, including the complaints policy and the order execution policy. This review adds findings not reported before. MetaGold's own payments page sets the minimum withdrawal at 100 USDT for card, crypto and Perfect Money, ten times the USD 10 the contract states, and your withdrawal method is locked to how you paid in. The Arabic contract drops the one working day withdrawal cap exactly as the Persian one does, so two marketed languages now show the same gap rather than one. The risk score moves from 8.7 to 8.8 on those two findings.

The counts above are the totals each reading published. They show that a total moved. They do not yet say which single clause was added or dropped.

We keep every past reading so you can check what we said before, and when we said it. Those pages are archived snapshots of an older contract, so search engines are asked not to index them.

In fairness, and what we could not check

A reader who knows the edges of the work can trust the middle of it

MetaGold publishes a complete legal set, thirteen documents, and renders the full text of each one on the page instead of hiding it in a download. It does the same in Persian and Arabic, and the Hindi page carries translated text as well. Three terms are better than most rivals offer. Positive slippage stays with you: the slippage page says MetaGold does not deduct it from your account. The commodity trading loan charges no interest, no fees and no penalty for early settlement. Bonus profits can be withdrawn under the normal withdrawal rules, which many brokers forbid outright. No document charges an inactivity or dormancy fee, and nothing lets MetaGold absorb an idle balance. The risk disclosure runs to 24 numbered items and is specific about stop out, leverage and quote failure. MetaGold also answers the FCA warning against the similarly named MetaGold Capital head on, on its own transparency page, rather than staying quiet about it.

This review covers all twelve English documents. Four of them would not open as text, so their wording comes from MetaGold's own terms page: the complaints policy, the order execution policy, the bonus terms and the educational sponsorship policy. Every quotation from those four comes from that page and matches it exactly. MetaGold also publishes a full Persian set of fourteen documents and a full Arabic set of eleven. In those two sets, the review covers only the clauses compared with the English: the withdrawal timing clause in both languages, and the language and governing-law clauses in the Persian client agreement. The rest of either set is not covered. The Arabic documents are dated June 2026 and we had not read any of them before. The Persian files are unchanged since the previous review.

How to check any of this yourself

Every quote above links to the METAGOLD file it came from. This is what to do with it.

Open the three stepsFind the words in the source, work out the fingerprint, and read what a difference does and does not prove.

Open the source and search for the words

Every quote has a link under it. Open the file, or the web page, and search it for the words we quote. The clause number next to the quote tells you where to look.

If the words are not there any more, the source may have changed after we read it. That is worth knowing too. We keep the date we read it, and a code worked out from its wording, so the quote stays checkable.

What a fingerprint is

A fingerprint is a code worked out from what a source says. Change one word and the code changes completely. We keep two codes for every file we read, and the panel on each source shows both.

The first is the code of the exact file we downloaded. The second is the code of its wording alone, with capital letters lowered and runs of spaces collapsed. When the same words are saved as a new file, the first code changes and the second one stays the same.

Only the first code can be worked out on your own computer. Save the file, then run one of these, putting the name of the file you saved where the example is. The panel on each source prints the command with that source's real file name already in it.

macOS or Linux:
  shasum -a 256 the-file-you-saved.pdf

Windows:
  certutil -hashfile the-file-you-saved.pdf SHA256

The two codes are different from each other, and they are not meant to match. Comparing one against the other proves nothing.

What a difference means, and what it does not

A different file code on its own proves nothing. A PDF saved again with a new date inside it is a new file saying exactly the same thing.

A different wording code means the words themselves changed. That is the one that matters, and it is why we keep it.

Even then, a change is not proof of bad faith. Companies update their documents. What this report says is what the document said on the day we read it, and every quote carries that date.

A source that is a web page and not a file has no file to save, so only the code of its wording is shown.

How this report is made

Every clause quoted above comes from a document METAGOLD publishes on its own website, downloaded and hashed on the date shown, with the clause number and page recorded so any reader can check it. We do not allege anything the documents do not say, and we do not judge METAGOLD on anything other than its own published terms and its own public marketing. Where a clause has a qualifier that softens it, the report says so. Last read Oct 12, 2026.

If you represent METAGOLD and a clause has changed, been withdrawn, or is being read out of context, tell us and we will re-read the documents and update this page. Corrections from the broker are welcome and are published with the reading they change. Contact us.

This is a reading of a contract, not legal advice and not a ruling on METAGOLD. Whether its licence is real and current is a separate check on the broker profile.
