MondFx Broker Overview
MondFx is the trading brand of Mond Trades Ltd, a company that, according to its website, is registered in Saint Lucia under number 2024-00109. The broker describes itself as an online forex and CFD broker, says it was established in 2022, and offers MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, eight account types with minimum deposits from $30 and leverage of up to 1:500. Funding runs through crypto, the TopChange wallet, an Iranian rial card gateway and the Spayz.io service for Nigeria, India and South Africa.
MondFx has a clear focus on Persian-speaking clients: its help centre is written in Persian, and the Persian version of its website presents MondFx as a forex broker for Iranians. The site is also published in English, Arabic, Hindi and Urdu. Alongside its trading accounts, it promotes FeneFx, a funded-trader challenge with allocations of up to $250,000, and MondBank, a set of yield plans.
Is MondFx Regulated?
MondFx claims to be licensed, but the licence number it gives, 2024-00109, is also the Saint Lucia registration number of its operating company, and a company registration is not financial regulation. Its website describes Mond Trades Ltd as a registered and licensed financial services entity with an approved and active status in Saint Lucia, and says the licence details and the registration certificate are available on request from its compliance team. The homepage also shows a badge titled 'Regulatory Supervision, Mauritius and Saint Lucia 2024' among its industry awards.
Is MondFx Safe?
MondFx's safety rests on a Saint Lucia company registration rather than a financial licence, and no investor compensation scheme is confirmed for its clients. Its own pages also disagree on points that matter, most clearly on negative balance protection: the homepage advertises it, while the account comparison table shows none on any account. Its restricted-countries notice excludes residents of Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, although the broker's phone and WhatsApp numbers are Turkish and it says it has offices in Istanbul and Dubai. The site also promotes MondBank yield plans advertised at up to 36% a year over three years.
MondFx Account Types
MondFx lists eight accounts. Nano is a cent account from $30, on which a $30 deposit shows as 3,000 cents; Standard starts at $100; Pro ECN, Crypto and MondShield at $500; ECN at $1,000; Islamic at $5,000; and VIP at $10,000. The seven accounts in the site's comparison table run on MetaTrader 5, and its menu also lists Pro ECN, ECN and Standard under cTrader. The homepage speaks of 10 account types, while the account pages describe these eight.
VIP adds a reduced per-lot commission that scales with monthly volume, a dedicated account manager and priority withdrawals, reviewed against trading activity. MondShield compensates part of a loss after a margin call, in real funds and on an approved request: cover starts at 30% and rises by 10 points every 30 trading days to 60% after 90 trading days, up to $5,000 per user, with a 30% trading bonus if the compensation stays in the account, while MondFx takes 15% of the profit when profits are withdrawn. The broker publishes no leverage, spread or commission for MondShield.
MondFx Spreads, Commissions and Fees
MondFx marks a commission on its VIP, Pro ECN, Standard, Crypto, Islamic and Nano accounts and none on ECN, but publishes no commission amounts; the Pro ECN guide describes a flat per-lot fee charged on both opening and closing a trade. Spreads start from 0.0 pips on VIP and Pro ECN and are described as low on Crypto and Islamic and as normal on Standard and Nano. Two accounts are described inconsistently: the Standard account card shows a commission while the Standard guide says all costs are built into the spread, and the ECN spread reads normal on the account page but raw on the homepage.
The Islamic account charges no swap, but a holding fee of $98 per lot applies from the sixth night; the account page counts positions open more than 5 business days, while clause 7.13 of the User Agreement says five calendar days. An inactivity fee of 3 USD a month applies after three months without activity, and the User Agreement allows balances of up to 2 EUR or USD on accounts closed or inactive for more than 90 days to be deducted and given to charity.
MondFx Leverage
Maximum leverage is 1:500 on VIP, Pro ECN, ECN, Standard and Nano, and 1:100 on Crypto and Islamic. The 1:500 is not flat: the broker's leverage schedule gives forex 1:500 only up to 2 lots of open volume, 1:300 from 2.01 to 4 lots and 1:100 above that, allows metals, indices and commodities 1:300 up to 2 lots and 1:100 beyond, and sets crypto and shares at 1:100. A leverage change is requested by ticket with no open positions, and the broker allows 48 hours for the review.
MondFx Trading Platforms
MondFx offers MetaTrader 5 for Windows, iOS and Android and in the browser at terminal.mondfx.com; the WebTrade option on its site opens the same MT5 web terminal. Its branded cTrader is available for Windows and macOS, as an Android app downloaded from the broker's own server rather than Google Play, and in the browser at app.mondfx.com; the platforms page lists no cTrader app for iOS. Copy trading, from $200 with trades copied on the MT5 server, and PAMM accounts, whose managers set their own minimums, fees and withdrawal terms, run through the social trading panel in the client area.
MondFx Deposits and Withdrawals
The funding page lists TopChange for Iranian rial or USDT, a direct gateway for bank-card payments in Iranian rial, Spayz.io for payments in Nigerian naira, Indian rupees and South African rand, and crypto deposits in Bitcoin, Ether and USDT on the TRC20, ERC20 and BEP20 networks. Withdrawal routes are narrower: the help centre names only USDT on TRC20 or BEP20 and TopChange. Payments must come from and go to the client's own accounts, and the methods available can differ by country of residence.
MondFx says withdrawal requests are processed on Sunday from 09:30 to 14:30 and Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 17:30 (GMT+3), typically in under 15 minutes and within about 2 hours, which is the time to process a request rather than for the money to arrive; its help centre gives Sunday to Friday 10:00 to 18:00 instead, with no time zone. The broker says it charges no internal deposit or withdrawal fees, although network fees may apply, but clause 7.8 of its User Agreement lets it charge the deposit fees incurred, or up to 7% of the amount, when a withdrawal follows a deposit without trading or in cases of abuse. No deposit or withdrawal limits are published; the broker says they depend on the method and account type and appear in the client dashboard.
MondFx Support
MondFx offers support by phone on +90 212 916 3535, by WhatsApp on +90 501 600 4887, by email at info@mondfx.com and support@mondfx.com, by live chat and on Telegram. The homepage promises 24/7 support, while the live chat greeting gives staffed hours of Sunday to Friday 08:00 to 24:00 and Saturday 09:00 to 18:00, with no time zone stated, and an automated assistant outside them. Complaints are lodged through the Complaint form in the client account within 5 working days of the event, and the User Agreement says they are considered within 5 business days, a period that can be extended.
MondFx Pros and Cons
The main strengths are:
- MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, both with browser versions
- A low entry point with the $30 Nano cent account
- A commission-free ECN account, and spreads from 0.0 pips on VIP and Pro ECN
- Crypto and local-currency funding, including rial, naira, rupee and rand routes
- Copy trading and PAMM accounts
The main drawbacks are:
- The licence number it gives is its Saint Lucia company registration
- No commission amounts are published
- Its own pages contradict each other on negative balance protection, the Standard account's commission and support hours
- Leverage falls as positions grow, and the Crypto and Islamic accounts stop at 1:100
- Fewer withdrawal routes than deposit routes, and a possible charge of up to 7% on a withdrawal that follows a deposit without trading
MondFx Review and Assessment
MondFx is a Saint Lucia broker built around MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, low entry deposits and crypto and rial funding, with a clear focus on Persian-speaking traders. Its main weakness is regulatory, since the licence it presents is its company registration number. Before funding an account, the User Agreement's fee and withdrawal clauses deserve a careful read, because the broker's marketing pages and its account documents do not always say the same thing.
