We checked OANDA TMS Brokers on 2026-10-15 across regulation, corporate record, client terms, trading offer and service, covering 71% of the record. No licence was in force: every licence we held had ended or was not found on its register. The weighted pillars summed to 44 and no gate capped it. Coverage was 71%, below the 65% needed for a full rating. What would change it: verified age, transparency, policy risk. No scam check had been published, so complaints and reputation stayed unknown. No policy review had been published, so the client terms were not scored. Trading EURUSD cost about 0.9 pips all-in, spread and commission together.

Broker Summary

What Wikilix has recorded about OANDA TMS Brokers: its history, the licences it holds, its trading conditions and its fees.

OANDA TMS Brokers S.A. is a Polish investment firm (dom maklerski) trading as OANDA TMS from Warsaw UNIT, Rondo Daszynskiego 1, 00-843 Warszawa. The company is entered on the Polish National Court Register under KRS 0000204776 with NIP 5262759131 and share capital of 3,537,560 PLN fully paid, and has been on the register since 21 April 2004. It states on its own site that it has been supervised by the Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego since an authorisation dated 26 April 2004 (reference KPWiG-4021-54-1/2004), and that it takes part in the compensation scheme administered by Krajowy Depozyt Papierow Wartosciowych S.A. Since March 2021 the firm has been wholly owned by OANDA Global Corporation, and the site is now branded accordingly.

What they offer. The core product is a leveraged CFD account covering more than 1,700 instruments: roughly 70 CFDs on forex, indices and commodities, over 1,600 share CFDs, 13 cryptocurrency CFDs and around 40 ETF CFDs. A separate cash brokerage account gives access to physical shares and ETFs on the Warsaw exchange and foreign markets. Retail leverage is capped at 1:30, in line with the European rules the firm operates under. Spreads are variable and quoted live on the site; the firm advertises no commission and no daily financing cost on CFDs on US and major German indices and on oil and gas, and a 0 PLN minimum commission for opening share and ETF CFD positions.

Accounts. Three CFD tiers are published, separated by account balance rather than by a hard entry fee: Standard below 10,000 PLN, Premium between 10,000 and 50,000 PLN, and Elite above 50,000 PLN. Premium and Elite receive spreads up to 30% lower and an included TradingView plan (Essential and Plus respectively) for up to 12 months, plus a named account manager at the top tier. Free cash earns interest of 6%, 6.5% or 7% a year by tier for the first three months and 0.5% thereafter, on balances up to 100,000 PLN. Professional and experienced-client classifications are offered separately, and a demo account with 50,000 PLN of virtual funds is available.

Platforms and funding. Clients trade through the firm's own OANDA TMS mobile application, MetaTrader 5 (desktop, web and mobile, with an installer published by the broker) and TradingView. Deposits are handled by Polish channels: Visa and Mastercard cards with no fee up to a 250,000 PLN limit, bank transfer with no fee in PLN, USD or EUR, mBank transfer and Autopay with no fee (2% for mBank and Place z Orange through Autopay), and Przelewy24 at 2%. Support runs Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00 from Warsaw by phone and email, with a help centre and chatbot.

Who it suits, and the caveats. This is a mainstream, onshore-regulated European broker and it suits Polish and EU retail clients who want a supervised counterparty, a broad instrument list and a familiar platform set rather than high leverage. The honest caveats: the firm's own risk warning states that 76% of retail investor accounts lose money trading CFDs with it, leverage is limited to 1:30 so it is unsuitable for anyone chasing offshore leverage, most documentation and support is in Polish, funding channels are almost entirely Polish and quoted in PLN, and the published account tiers are gated by balance so the better spreads and TradingView plans need real capital. WIKILIX could not confirm the authorisation against the supervisor's own public register in this review, so the licence details above rest on the firm's own published legal information and on the corporate record.

How we know — 9 sources
  1. 1Registration form at https://www.tms.pl/onboarding: the first step asks whether the applicant lives in Poland, and answering yes continues in the Polish onboarding flow, so PL is accepted by this entity's own onboarding.
  2. 2Registration form at https://www.tms.pl/onboarding: answering no opens a residence selector whose priority block lists the 27 EU/EEA jurisdictions plus the United Kingdom. Selecting Germany keeps the applicant inside the same onboarding flow and offers to switch the interface language, so those jurisdictions are treated as accepted.
  3. 3Registration form at https://www.tms.pl/onboarding: selecting the United States hands the applicant off to a different group onboarding site instead of continuing the flow, so US is recorded as an inferred rather than a stated block. No page read on the broker's own site names the United States in words.
  4. 4Legal information page https://www.tms.pl/zastrzezenia-prawne states that the site is available worldwide but that use of the products and services presented may be restricted or prohibited for some parties under applicable local law. It names no country, so no code is taken from it.
  5. 5Footer risk warning on https://www.tms.pl/ states that the information on the site is not directed at recipients of any specific country and is not intended for distribution where it would breach local law. No country is named.
  6. 6Deposit page https://www.tms.pl/doladuj-konto lists only Polish payment channels and states no jurisdictional restriction.
  7. 7The published document set at https://www.tms.pl/dokumenty was reached and enumerated; no document titled as a restricted or prohibited jurisdictions list is published there.
  8. 8No dedicated restricted-countries page is published: /restricted-countries and /prohibited-countries are not part of the site's document set or navigation.
  9. 9No regulator filing was consulted for this section; a filing states permitted rather than blocked jurisdictions and could not set a block in any case.
Recorded by WIKILIX research, not published by the broker, and not a guarantee. A country listed nowhere above is not thereby accepted — check OANDA TMS Brokers's own terms before you open an account.

Common questions about OANDA TMS Brokers

Most Popular Questions

The operating company has been on the Polish National Court Register since 21 April 2004 and dates its supervisory authorisation to 26 April 2004, so it has more than twenty years of continuous corporate history under the same registration number. The brand was renamed after OANDA Global Corporation took full ownership in March 2021.

  • Leverage is limited to 1:30 for retail clients, so this is not a venue for high-leverage strategies
  • The site, the documents and most support are in Polish, and funding is quoted in PLN through Polish channels
  • Withdrawal fees, times and limits are not published on the funding page and have to be read out of the fee tables
  • The better spreads and the included TradingView plans are gated behind balances of 10,000 PLN and 50,000 PLN
  • The firm discloses that 76% of retail investor accounts lose money trading CFDs with it

No. On the evidence WIKILIX opened, this is a real, long-established Polish brokerage house with a company record on the national court register going back to April 2004, a named registered office in central Warsaw, a full set of published legal documents, a staffed support department with several direct numbers, and an authorisation reference it publishes on every page. That is the opposite profile from a fraudulent operation. The genuine risks here are commercial, not existential: the firm's own disclosure that 76% of its retail CFD accounts lose money is the number to take seriously.

Yes. The site offers a demo account with 50,000 PLN of virtual funds, reachable from the homepage and the account pages, giving access to the same instrument range across forex, index, commodity, crypto, share and ETF CFDs.

The onboarding form accepts residents of Poland and, on testing, of the EU and EEA jurisdictions plus the United Kingdom, which appear as a priority block in its residence selector. Selecting the United States sends the applicant to a different group onboarding site rather than continuing, so this entity does not appear to onboard US residents. The site's legal-information page adds that use of its products may be restricted or prohibited for some parties under local law, without naming countries. If you are outside the EU, check before you apply.

The firm states that it participates in the compensation scheme administered by Krajowy Depozyt Papierow Wartosciowych S.A., the Polish central securities depository. That is a real investor-compensation arrangement of the kind an onshore European investment firm is required to belong to, and it is one of the substantive differences between this broker and an offshore CFD shop. It protects against firm failure, not against trading losses.

Spreads are variable and quoted live on the site, with EUR/USD showing around 0.9 pips at the time of this review. The firm advertises no commission and no daily financing cost on CFDs on US and major German indices and on oil and gas, and a 0 PLN minimum commission for opening share and ETF CFD positions. Premium and Elite balances get spreads up to 30% lower. There is no account opening or maintenance fee provided at least one transaction is made per year.

The broker's deposit page covers deposits only and publishes no withdrawal times, fees or limits, so WIKILIX records none rather than guess. Withdrawals are requested through a published withdrawal order form, and the charges are set out in the service fee table in the documents section. If withdrawal cost matters to your decision, read that table before funding.

Five channels are published, all Polish. Visa and Mastercard cards are free with a 250,000 PLN limit. Bank transfer is free and available in PLN, USD and EUR with no limit. mBank transfer is free with no limit. Autopay is free except through mBank and Place z Orange, where 2% applies. Przelewy24 carries a 2% fee. For the Stocks service the separately published table of fees applies.

More than 1,700 CFD instruments: about 70 CFDs on forex, indices and commodities, over 1,600 share CFDs, 13 cryptocurrency CFDs and around 40 ETF CFDs. A separate cash brokerage account covers physical shares and ETFs from the Warsaw exchange and foreign markets. The firm also publishes a full instrument specification document with the per-instrument conditions.

  • The broker's own OANDA TMS mobile application, on iOS and Android
  • MetaTrader 5, in desktop, browser and mobile builds, with an installer published by the broker itself
  • TradingView, with an Essential plan included for Premium balances and a Plus plan for Elite balances, for up to 12 months

Retail leverage is capped at 1:30 on all three CFD tiers, which is what European rules allow for retail clients. Anyone wanting more has to be reclassified: the firm publishes separate professional-client and experienced-client routes, which carry different margin rates and a lower level of regulatory protection.

The site publishes no account-opening minimum at all. The figures that appear on the account comparison are balance thresholds that decide which tier you sit in, not entry fees: Standard below 10,000 PLN, Premium from 10,000 to 50,000 PLN, and Elite above 50,000 PLN. So you can open an account without a stated minimum, but the reduced spreads and the included TradingView plans only start at 10,000 PLN.

The operating entity is OANDA TMS Brokers S.A., a Polish joint-stock company registered under KRS 0000204776, NIP 5262759131, REGON 015715078, with share capital of 3,537,560 PLN fully paid. Its registered office is Rondo Daszynskiego 1, 00-843 Warszawa. The company states on its About page that it has been wholly owned by OANDA Global Corporation since March 2021, which is why the brand now reads OANDA TMS rather than TMS Brokers alone.

Yes. The operator, OANDA TMS Brokers S.A., states on its own legal-information page and in the footer of every page that it is supervised by the Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, under an authorisation dated 26 April 2004 with the reference KPWiG-4021-54-1/2004. That is onshore European supervision, not an offshore registration. One caveat worth stating plainly: WIKILIX confirmed the company itself on the Polish National Court Register but did not open the supervisor's own public register in this review, so the licence reference above is the firm's own published claim rather than a register reading.
