Independent safety report

Is Pravda Markets a scam?

Likely scamMEDIUM confidence
Updated September 23, 2026
Offshore withdrawal-refusal operation with false age and scale claims

We assess Pravda Markets as high risk and rate the likelihood of a scam at 74 percent. The company is real and its licence is real, but the licence comes from an authority that the Comoros central bank has publicly disowned, and clients on more than one platform report money that never came back.

  • The main site on record advertises 10 Years of trading experience. The company was registered in 2024 and both of its websites were registered in 2024. The operation is about two and a half years old.
  • The only licence, MISA BFX2024078, does appear on the issuer's own register in the company's own name. The certificate shows a licence term that ended on 10 April 2025, yet the licence is still advertised as current.
  • Clients describe the same sequence: a withdrawal requested, then delay, then an account closed with the balance still on it. One describes an account holding 65,000 USD.
  • We found no positive reviews anywhere, no Trustpilot page at all, and 17 Instagram followers against a claimed 25,000 satisfied customers.
  • No regulator warning names this company, and we found no enforcement action and no fraud-related court record against it.

Regulation

7/10 · High

Holds a genuine licence in its own name, confirmed on the issuer's register, but the issuer is disowned by the Comoros central bank and the certificate's own term ended 10 April 2025 while the licence is still advertised as current.

Identity & transparency

6/10 · High

Legal entity, company number and registered office are disclosed and match the register, but the working office in Montenegro sits outside any licence we could verify and the main site presents a template founder as its own.

Withdrawals & conduct

8/10 · Critical

Fund-integrity complaints from different people on more than one platform describing the same mechanic, with amounts, an account number and a named account manager, and no reply or resolution from the company.

Reputation

7/10 · High

No positive reviews found anywhere, no Trustpilot page at all, and a Turkish law firm publishing a victim advisory naming the brand, though no regulator has listed it.

Website claims

9/10 · Critical

Advertises 10 years of trading experience and 25,000 satisfied customers on a 2024 operation with 17 Instagram followers, and presents an expired licence term as current.

Operational history

7/10 · High

Verified track record is about two and a half years on both the domain and company legs, against an advertised 10 years with no named predecessor carrying history forward.

Mwali International Services Authority (MISA)

VerifiedTier 4Limited relevance
A company registrar on the autonomous island of Moheli in the Comoros that sells brokerage registrations. It does not supervise how client money is held, runs no compensation scheme and resolves no disputes. The Banque Centrale des Comores, the country's actual central bank, has publicly stated that this register has no legal basis to license financial firms.
Protection: None in practice. No compensation scheme, no segregated-funds supervision and no dispute body a client can appeal to.Official register

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

Four findings drive the number, and they point the same way.

  • The age claim is false. The main site on record states 10 years of trading experience. The domain pravdamarkets.com was registered on 13 March 2024 and pravdamrkts.com on 2 August 2024. The company's own terms say it was incorporated in 2024, and its licence was issued in April 2024. No earlier brand or domain carries any history forward. The real track record is about two and a half years.
  • The licence is genuine but close to worthless, and its term has run out. MISA lists PRAVDA MARKETS LTD, licence BFX2024078, and records the company's own website, so this is the company's own licence and not one borrowed from another firm. But the certificate shows a term ending 10 April 2025, and the site still presents the licence as current without mentioning any end date or renewal. Separately, the Banque Centrale des Comores, which is the actual national regulator, has stated publicly that the Mwali register has no legal basis to license financial firms at all. A client relying on this licence has nothing to appeal to.
  • The complaints are about money, not service. Across more than one complaint platform, different people describe one mechanic: a withdrawal is requested, nothing arrives, and the account is then closed or restricted with the balance still in it. Specifics are attached, including amounts of 65,000 USD and 4,000 USD, an account number and a named account manager. That is a fund-integrity pattern, not a grumble about spreads. We found no reply from the company on any of them.
  • The two sites do not describe the same business. pravdamarkets.com is careful and states the licence, the company number and a risk warning. The main site on record is an unmodified purchased template whose filler text still refers to installations and repairs and to shopping for deals, presents a founder photograph and name that belong to the template, and routes contact through a Turkish mobile number on WhatsApp. Its terms exclude Turkish residents. The complaints we found are from Turkey.

Two honest limits on the figure. The Mwali registrar publishes licence dates but no incorporation date, so the age rests on the domain records and is an upper bound rather than a precise figure. And this is a young operation, under three years old, which is exactly the profile where a clean finding would have meant least. Here the findings are not clean.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

The case against this broker is not airtight, and several points genuinely cut in its favour.

  • It is not a clone. We checked the licence number against the issuer's register. It returns this company's own name, its own company number and its own website. Nobody else's credentials are being worn, which is the single most common fraud in this market and it is absent here.
  • The corporate disclosure is real. A named legal entity, a company number, a registered office and a working address are all published, and the entity details match the register. Many worse operations disclose nothing at all.
  • No regulator has acted. We swept the major warning and alert lists and found nothing naming this company or either of its domains. No enforcement action, no court record.
  • The Turkey exclusion may be a fix, not a lie. The clause excluding Turkish residents may well have been added after the Turkish complaints, as a correction rather than a cover. We cannot date it, and we are not treating it as deliberate deception.
  • Some complaints are ordinary trading disputes. Slippage and order-routing grievances appear in the same complaint set, and traders lose money at honest brokers too. We have kept those separate and they carry no weight in the score.
  • The complaint volume is modest. This is not hundreds of victims. It is a small number of accounts, and a competitor can plant complaints. What stops us dismissing them is the specificity and the fact that they appear under different names on more than one platform.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

These would move our assessment, in either direction.

  • Down: a renewed MISA certificate showing a current licence term, published on the register with dates that have not expired.
  • Down: the 10 years and 25,000 customers claims removed from the site, or evidenced with a named predecessor company or domain we can date.
  • Down: credible, dated evidence of withdrawals being paid, including public replies resolving the existing complaints.
  • Down: a licence from an authority that actually supervises, such as a Seychelles, Mauritius or Vanuatu dealer licence held by the entity that takes the deposits.
  • Up: any regulator adding this company or either domain to a warning or alert list.
  • Up: a credible report of a client being asked to pay a tax, fee or unlock charge before a withdrawal is released. We found no such report, and one would change this case materially.
  • Up: the licence being removed from the register while the site continues to advertise it.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

12 questions
Is Pravda Markets a scam?

We assess it as high risk and rate the likelihood of a scam at 74 percent. The company exists and holds a real licence, but the licence is from an authority the Comoros central bank says has no power to issue one, the site overstates the firm's age by roughly seven years, and clients on more than one platform report withdrawals that were never paid.

Is Pravda Markets a fraud?

No regulator or court has found fraud, so we do not state that as a fact. What we can say is that we assess the risk of fraud as high. There is no warning-list entry, no enforcement action and no fraud-related court record naming this company, but the conduct clients describe, which is deposits accepted and withdrawals then refused, is the pattern that matters most.

Is Pravda Markets regulated?

It holds licence BFX2024078 from the Mwali International Services Authority in the Comoros. We confirmed it on that authority's own register. However, the Banque Centrale des Comores, the country's actual central bank, has publicly stated that this register has no legal basis to license financial firms. In practice the licence gives you no protection.

Can I withdraw my money from Pravda Markets?

Several clients say they could not. The reports describe a withdrawal request that goes unanswered for weeks, followed by the account being closed or restricted with the balance still on it. We found no public evidence of withdrawals being paid and no replies from the company resolving these cases.

Is my money safe with Pravda Markets?

We would not treat it as safe. There is no compensation scheme behind this licence, no segregated-client-money requirement we could verify, and no ombudsman or dispute body to appeal to. If the company does not pay you, there is no regulator that will make it.

Who owns Pravda Markets?

The trading entity is PRAVDA MARKETS LTD, company number HT00324050, registered at Bonovo Road, Fomboni, on the island of Moheli in the Comoros. Its working office is in Podgorica, Montenegro. The individual owners are not disclosed. A founder name and photograph shown on the main site belong to the website template rather than to the company.

How old is Pravda Markets?

About two and a half years. The domain pravdamarkets.com was registered in March 2024, pravdamrkts.com in August 2024, the company was incorporated in 2024 and the licence was issued in April 2024. The site's claim of 10 years of trading experience is not supported by any record we could find.

What is a MISA licence worth?

Very little. MISA is a registrar on the autonomous island of Moheli, not a functioning supervisor. It does not monitor how client money is held, does not run a compensation scheme and does not resolve disputes. The Comoros central bank has said it has no legal standing to issue financial licences at all.

Is Pravda Markets a clone of another broker?

No. We checked the licence number on the issuer's register and it returns this company's own name, its own company number and its own website. It is not wearing another firm's credentials, which is a genuine point in its favour.

Does Pravda Markets accept clients from Turkey?

Its own terms say it does not serve residents of Turkey or the United States. In practice the main site on record lists a Turkish mobile number as a WhatsApp contact, and the complaints we found come from Turkish clients. Pravda Markets holds no authorisation from Turkey's Capital Markets Board.

What should I check before depositing with any broker?

Open the regulator's own register yourself and search the licence number. Check the entity name matches the company taking your money, check the website listed on the register matches the site you are on, and check the licence dates rather than just the status word. Then search the domain, not the brand name, for complaints.

What do I do if I have already deposited with Pravda Markets?

Request a full withdrawal in writing and keep every record. Do not pay any further amount described as a tax, fee, or unlock charge, because that is how losses get larger. If you paid by card, ask your bank about a chargeback quickly. Report it to the financial regulator where you live.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Treat this as a broker to avoid until the points above are answered.

  • Do not deposit. The licence gives you no practical protection, and the reported failure is the one that matters, which is money not coming back.
  • If you already hold a balance, request a full withdrawal now, in writing, and keep the request, the timestamps and every reply.
  • Never pay a further amount to release funds. No legitimate broker requires a tax, fee or unlock payment before returning your own money.
  • If you paid by card, ask your bank about a chargeback quickly, because the time limits are short.
  • Report it to the financial regulator where you live. Turkish residents can report to the Capital Markets Board, which does not authorise this company.
  • Check any licence yourself on the issuing authority's own register, and check the dates on the certificate, not just the status word.
