Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
7/10 · HighThe only credential is an expired Mwali (MISA) offshore licence still advertised as current; the Saint Vincent entry is a company registration, not regulation; and the Bank of Russia lists the domain as illegal.
Identity & transparency
6/10 · HighThe legal entity and owners are named and the entity is real, but the address is a mass-registration office, no leadership is shown on the site, and the regulatory presentation is misleading.
Withdrawals & conduct
7/10 · HighFund-integrity complaints dominate, with withdrawals refused and extra commissions demanded, clustered from mid-2022 and corroborated by the central-bank warning; hard transactional detail is limited.
Reputation
8/10 · CriticalNet strongly negative across multiple platforms plus a national-regulator warning; some positive reviews appear planted.
Website claims
8/10 · CriticalThe site presents a company registration as FSA regulation and advertises an expired licence as a current authorisation.
Operational history
3/10 · LowDomain and company both date to 2020, about six years, so the 'since 2020' claim is not exaggerated, but the history includes a 2022 regulator warning rather than a clean record.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
Several findings, drawn from primary sources, put this beyond an ordinary offshore-risk case:
- A national regulator warning naming the exact domain. The Bank of Russia's list of companies with signs of illegal activity names 'TASS' with websites tassfx.com and my.tassfx.com, under the category 'signs of an illegal professional participant in the securities market'. It was added on 21 July 2022 and the entry is still maintained.
- An expired licence sold as current. The Mwali (MISA) register shows licence BFX2024003 was issued on 18 January 2024 with an end date of 18 February 2025. That term has passed, yet the site still presents the licence as a live authorisation.
- A company registration dressed up as regulation. The site states it is 'Registered by The Financial Services Authority (FSA) of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, registration No. 445 LLC 2020'. That is a company registration number. Saint Vincent does not license or regulate forex brokers, and its authorities have said so publicly.
- Withdrawal complaints. Across several consumer sites, clients describe deposits accepted and then withdrawals refused or blocked behind large commissions, with account managers pushing further deposits. The reports cluster from mid-2022, the same period the Bank of Russia acted.
Even setting the complaints aside, an unlicensed broker that misstates its regulatory status and carries a central-bank warning is not one a client can safely fund. MISA is a near-worthless offshore registrar, and no credible regulator oversees this operation. The company registration number encodes 2020 and the domain dates to July 2020, so the operating history is about six years, but longevity does not cure a false regulatory claim.
Note on operating history: the 6.2-year track record rests on domain registration alone. No company incorporation date could be established, so this is an upper bound rather than a confirmed age.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The Bank of Russia lists 'TASS' with websites tassfx.com and my.tassfx.com under 'signs of an illegal professional participant in the securities market', added 21 July 2022 and still maintained.
Hard proofBank of Russia warning listE2The broker presents a Saint Vincent company registration (No. 445 LLC 2020) as regulation by 'The Financial Services Authority (FSA)'. Saint Vincent does not license or regulate forex, so this is a company registration shown as financial oversight.
E3The Mwali (MISA) register shows licence BFX2024003 for Tass LLC issued 18 January 2024 with an end date of 18 February 2025. The term has passed, yet the site still advertises the licence as current.
E4Across several consumer review sites, clients describe deposits taken and withdrawals then refused or held behind large commissions, with managers pushing more deposits. Reports cluster from mid-2022.
E5The operation is Russian-facing: the site's primary language is Russian, the nameservers are on mail.ru, and the licence record names owners in Astana, Kazakhstan, while the site nominally lists Russia and Belarus as restricted.
E6MISA is a low-tier offshore registrar that provides no meaningful client protection, and no tier-1 or tier-2 regulator supervises this broker, so client funds are unprotected.
ModerateMwali (MISA) registerE7The domain tassfx.com was registered on 3 July 2020, and the site, company number and licence record all describe the same entity, so TASS is a genuine operator of about six years and not a clone impersonating a regulated brand.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
In fairness, some points cut the other way, and we checked them:
- It is a real, established operation, not a copycat. The domain dates to July 2020, and the Mwali record, the site and the company number all describe the same entity, so this is not a clone impersonating a famous broker.
- The Mwali licence did genuinely exist. TASS LLC really was granted MISA licence BFX2024003. The problem is that it lapsed in February 2025, and even while live it offered no meaningful protection.
- A Saint Vincent registration is real as a registration. The company does appear to be a registered Saint Vincent LLC. That is simply not the same thing as being licensed to run a brokerage.
- Some complaint pages are low quality. Part of the negative coverage sits on reputation-review sites that recycle similar wording, so we leaned on the regulator warning and the broker's own pages rather than on review volume.
None of this outweighs a live central-bank warning together with two false regulatory claims on the broker's own site.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
We would revisit this verdict if:
- The Bank of Russia removed tassfx.com and my.tassfx.com from its warning list.
- TASS obtained and could show a current licence from a credible regulator (for example the FCA, ASIC or CySEC), verifiable on that regulator's own register.
- The site stopped presenting the Saint Vincent company registration as regulation and stopped advertising the expired Mwali licence as current.
- A consistent record of clients being paid out in full appeared on independent platforms.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is TASS a scam?
Yes, we rate TASS a scam. It is unregulated, its only licence has expired, it misstates its regulatory status, and the Bank of Russia lists its websites as an illegal securities-market participant.
Is TASS a fraud?
We assess the risk of fraud as high. The Bank of Russia flags its sites as illegal, the only licence has lapsed, and clients report blocked withdrawals. We do not hold a court finding, so we describe the conduct and the warning rather than allege a crime.
Is TASS regulated?
No. There is no oversight from any tier-1 or tier-2 regulator. Its Mwali (MISA) licence expired on 18 February 2025, and its Saint Vincent registration is a company registration, not financial regulation.
Can I withdraw my money from TASS?
Many users report that they cannot. The common pattern is withdrawals refused or delayed, and demands for extra commissions before funds are released. Do not pay such demands.
Is my money safe with TASS?
No. With no credible regulator and no compensation scheme, client deposits have no protection, and there is no reliable way to force a payout.
Who owns TASS?
The operator is TASS LLC, registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The Mwali licence record names Roza Khatsiyeva as CEO and owner and Issa Abuyev, both in Astana, Kazakhstan.
How old is TASS?
The domain tassfx.com was registered in July 2020 and the company registration dates to 2020, so the operation is about six years old. Age alone does not make it safe.
What is a MISA (Mwali) licence worth?
Very little. MISA is a low-tier offshore registrar on the autonomous island of Moheli, not a functioning financial supervisor, and it gives clients no real protection. In this case the licence has also expired.
Is TASS registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines?
It is registered there as a company (No. 445 LLC 2020). However, Saint Vincent does not license or regulate forex brokers, so that registration is not a trading licence and offers no investor protection.
Is TASS a clone of another broker?
No. The domain, the company and the licence record all describe the same entity, so this is not a clone impersonating a well-known brand. It is a genuine but unregulated offshore operation.
What should I check before depositing with any broker?
Look for a current licence from a top-tier regulator such as the FCA, ASIC or CySEC, and confirm the exact company name and website on that regulator's own register. Check independent reviews for withdrawal problems, and avoid brokers on any regulator warning list.
I was scammed by TASS. What can I do?
Stop depositing and pay no fee to unlock funds. Request a full withdrawal in writing, keep all records, and ask your bank about a chargeback or recall. Report it to your national regulator, and ignore anyone promising paid fund recovery.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Treat TASS as unsafe for deposits.
- Do not send new money, and do not pay any commission, tax or fee demanded to release a withdrawal. That demand is itself a warning sign.
- If you hold a balance, request a full withdrawal in writing and keep records of dates, amounts and chat logs.
- If you deposited by card or bank transfer, ask your bank about a chargeback or payment recall. If you paid by crypto, funds are likely unrecoverable, so act quickly.
- Report the matter to your national financial regulator, and for card payments to your card scheme.
- Be wary of anyone who contacts you offering to recover lost funds for an upfront fee. That is a common follow-up scam.
