We could not evidence a single payout leaving The TradeMakers, and its terms describe any payout as a discretionary reward it may withhold. Nothing here looks like a scam in progress, but nothing yet…

Payout Policy

Profit withdrawal rules and schedules

Up to N/A Split

Payouts are requested from the trader dashboard and may be requested as often as every six active trading days, counted from account activation or from the previous payout.

To qualify for a payout a trader must:

  • Complete six qualifying trading days since activation or the last payout, each with at least $200 in realised profit. Challenge Equities accounts use five trading days to complete the evaluation itself.
  • Hold the account above its published minimum withdrawal balance, the level the firm calls the buffer, both at the time of the request and throughout it.
  • Stay inside the account's consistency rule and have no breach of the drawdown, daily loss or platform rules.

Once submitted, compliance review takes one to two business days, approval follows the same day as that review, and payment is processed within 24 to 72 hours. Payouts are made by bank transfer in US dollars, and only to an account held in the trader's own verified name. Third party payouts are not accepted.

Withdrawals are capped per cycle and the cap rises after the fourth payout. On equities accounts the minimum payout is $300 per account per withdrawal, and profit calculations are finalised daily between 5:00 and 8:00 PM EST. Profit goals carry over between payout cycles.

A payout is voided by a drawdown breach, by hedging, by automation or bot use, by latency or data exploitation, and by any breach of the firm's good faith policy. An account left without a trade for 14 days is suspended and its payout cycle resets, so a fresh six trading days is required before the next request.

Execution costs are charged per trade on top of the program fee and are the same across account sizes.

  • Futures. $5 per round trip per contract on minis, and $0.50 per round trip per contract on micros.
  • Equities. $5 per 1,000 shares, with a $1 minimum ticket charged each way.

Market data fees and the platform licence are bundled into the program fee, so there is no separate monthly data or platform charge on top of the purchase price.

Consistency Rules

Performance requirements to maintain your account

Must Follow

Every program carries a consistency rule capping how much of a trader's total profit may come from a single day.

  • Instant Futures and Instant Equities: no single day may account for more than 20% of total profit.
  • Challenge Futures and Challenge Equities: no single day may account for more than 40% of total profit.

The firm's own worked example for a 40% program: if total evaluation profit is $6,000, no single day may contribute more than $2,400 in realised gains. On an evaluation, breaching the rule voids the attempt regardless of how profitable the account is.

The rule is applied as a target rather than an immediate disqualification on funded accounts. Where a best day is too large a share, the required total profit rises until that day falls back inside the cap. On a $3,000 evaluation target, a best day of $1,400 fails, a best day of $1,100 passes, and a trader who makes $1,400 in one day must reach $3,500 in total before the account is consistent.

Consistency is checked at every payout review alongside the drawdown and daily loss rules.

Prop Trading Rules

Trading conditions and rules for prop accounts

0 Rules

All orders must be placed by hand on the firm's trading platform. Semi automated, read only tools may be used only after written approval from support.

  • News and earnings. Trading through news and earnings releases is permitted. On futures, traders are asked not to open new positions in the two minutes before a scheduled economic release and to resume normal trading once volatility settles about two minutes after it. On equities, positions may not be opened or held in a company through its own earnings window, and correlated exposure such as index products during a large constituent's earnings is treated the same way.
  • Automation. Fully automated bots and expert advisors, trade copiers, mirror systems, external API execution and latency or feed exploitation are prohibited.
  • Copy trading. Copying or mirroring trades between accounts, or replicating the same trades across several accounts at once, is prohibited and is treated as cross account hedging.
  • Hedging. Direct, cross instrument, cross account and mirror hedging are all prohibited. Diversified positions in genuinely different markets, scaling out of a position and portfolio rotation remain permitted.
  • Holding periods. Swing trading is not permitted. Futures positions may not be carried overnight, and equities positions must be reduced or closed by 3:58 PM EST. Stocks reporting earnings after the close or before the open may not be held over.
  • Very short holds. Systematic hyperscalping, meaning profits drawn predominantly from positions opened and closed inside 60 seconds, is prohibited. A single short trade is not itself a breach, and short duration losing trades are excluded from the calculation, so ordinary stop losses and risk cuts are unaffected.
  • Permitted techniques. Dollar cost averaging, scaling in and out, and manually flipping direction are all allowed when risk managed within the account's limits.

Futures markets are open from Sunday 6:00 PM to Friday 5:00 PM EST, with a one hour maintenance break each day between 5:00 and 6:00 PM EST.

Firm Rules

Guidelines and restrictions for funded accounts

0 Rules

Outside the drawdown and daily loss limits, these are the account level rules that end a program.

  • Account inactivity. At least one trade is required every 14 days. An account with no trades for 14 days is flagged and trading is disabled pending review; beyond 20 days the account is closed permanently with no payout eligibility. Inactive periods reset both payout and evaluation progress.
  • Multiple accounts. A trader may hold up to five accounts in total. Using several identities, logging into another trader's account, or coordinating positions between accounts to offset each other is prohibited.
  • Identity verification. Identity and address verification is required, and payouts are released only to the verified account holder. Providing false or incomplete verification information is grounds for termination.
  • Good faith conduct. Latency exploitation, artificial volume, order spoofing, wash trading, collusion and misrepresentation each carry account closure, and in several cases forfeiture of profits and a ban from future programs.
  • Market conduct. Traders are expected to follow CME market conduct standards and avoid any behaviour treated as manipulative. High frequency trading, tick scalping, latency and reverse arbitrage, martingale and grid strategies, and oversized lot stacking intended to stress the platform are all prohibited.
  • Chargebacks. Opening a payment dispute after platform access has been delivered terminates the account, forfeits any payout and profit split, and results in a permanent ban.

Evaluation and instant funding fees are final and are not refunded on completion, failure or termination. Refunds are considered only for duplicate charges, a failed payment where access was never delivered, or a statutory cooling off right exercised before the account is accessed.

Futures accounts are liquidated automatically when a risk parameter is breached. Equities accounts have no auto liquidation, so reducing exposure is the trader's responsibility.
