Payout Policy
Profit withdrawal rules and schedules
Payouts belong to the Prime funded stage. A Starter Challenge account is an evaluation and cannot withdraw. Once the challenge is passed and the account is activated, the trader moves to a Prime account and the payout cycle begins.
Qualifying for a request. A Prime account needs 6 qualifying trading days per payout cycle. A qualifying day is one where at least one trade is executed and the day closes with $150 or more in net profit. Days below that threshold do not count, the days do not have to be consecutive, and the counter resets after every payout. Prime carries no profit target of its own.
- Minimum request: $250 on all funded accounts.
- Buffer: every withdrawal must leave at least $100 in the account, so a request that would zero the profit balance is rejected.
- Share per request: accounts funded on or after 1 February 2026 may take up to 50 percent of the profit earned in that cycle, and never more than the published cap for the account size and payout number. Accounts funded before that date stay on the earlier cap structure.
- Caps: on the current table a $25K account is capped at $800 per request, while $50K, $100K and $150K accounts start at $1,500, $2,000 and $2,500 and rise with each successive payout. Caps apply per request rather than as a lifetime total.
Processing. Payouts are handled through the firm's payout partner, and traders must register and complete identity verification there before a first request. Verification is a one time step unless the payout method or personal details change. Requests are reviewed within 24 hours and, under normal conditions, processed within 48 hours of approval during New York business hours. After processing, bank transfers land in 1 to 3 business days, crypto within 1 to 2 hours, and supported e-wallets within 24 hours.
What blocks a payout. A hard drawdown breach disqualifies the account outright. A request is also held or refused when the qualifying day count is short, the consistency threshold is not met, the $100 buffer would not remain, identity verification is incomplete, or the account is under compliance review. A soft daily loss breach on its own does not deny a payout.
One important interaction: if a first payout is taken before profits exceed the trailing drawdown amount, the drawdown floor jumps to the starting balance and locks there immediately afterwards, which can leave very little cushion. Building profit above the drawdown before withdrawing avoids that.

Commission Structure
Trading fees by asset class
Commission is charged per contract on a round turn basis and is set by contract size rather than by market. Full size and E-mini contracts are $5.00 per round turn. Micro contracts are $1.60 per round turn.
The charge is applied when the position closes, not when it is opened, and it is calculated separately from the trade result. While a position is open the profit and loss shown does not yet include it. On a trade closed for $500 of profit with $5 of commission, the account is credited $495.
The $5.00 tier covers contracts such as ES, NQ, YM, RTY and NKD on the index side, GC, SI and HG in metals, CL, NG, HO, RB, QM, QG and PL in energy, the CBOT grains and soy complex, the CME livestock contracts, and the CME Bitcoin future. The $1.60 tier covers the micros: MES, MNQ, MYM and M2K, MGC, SIL and MHG, MCL, and MBT.
Traders should also allow for the daily exchange maintenance break between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM CT from Monday to Thursday, and for holiday schedules that vary by contract.
Indices
$5.00 per round turn per contract on E-mini and full-size index futures (ES, NQ, YM, RTY, NKD). $1.60 per round turn on micro index futures (MES, MNQ, MYM, M2K). Commission is charged when the position closes, not at entry.
Metals
$5.00 per round turn per contract on full-size metals (GC Gold, SI Silver, HG Copper). $1.60 per round turn on micros (MGC Micro Gold, SIL Micro Silver, MHG Micro Copper). Commission is charged when the position closes, not at entry.
Energy
$5.00 per round turn per contract on energy futures (CL Crude Oil, NG Natural Gas, HO Heating Oil, RB RBOB Gasoline, QM Mini Crude Oil, QG Mini Natural Gas, PL Platinum). $1.60 per round turn on MCL Micro Oil. Commission is charged when the position closes, not at entry.
Other Commodities
$5.00 per round turn per contract on grain, soft and livestock futures (ZC Corn, ZS Soybean, ZW Wheat, ZL Soybean Oil, ZM Soybean Meal, LE Live Cattle, HE Lean Hog). Commission is charged when the position closes, not at entry.
Crypto
$5.00 per round turn per contract on the CME Bitcoin futures contract (BTC). $1.60 per round turn on MBT Micro Bitcoin. These are exchange-listed futures contracts; spot cryptocurrency is not offered. Commission is charged when the position closes, not at entry.
Consistency Rules
Performance requirements to maintain your account
YRM Prop applies a single day profit concentration rule, and the threshold tightens as a trader moves from evaluation to funded status. The test is the same in both cases: divide the profit of the best single day by the total profit for the cycle being assessed.
- Starter Challenge: 50 percent. No single trading day may account for more than half the profit earned up to the point the challenge is passed.
- Prime: 35 percent. No single trading day may account for more than 35 percent of the profit in the payout cycle being claimed.
A worked example the firm gives: a $50K challenge finishing with $2,800 of profit, of which one day contributed $1,500, computes to 53.5 percent and fails. The remedy is to keep trading and spread profit across further days until the largest day falls back under the threshold.
Consistency runs alongside a minimum day count rather than replacing it. A Starter Challenge must be traded on at least 2 separate days to pass. A Prime account needs 6 qualifying days, each closing with at least $150 net profit, before a payout can be requested.
Failing the consistency test costs nothing directly. Profits stay in the account and the trader simply cannot pass or withdraw yet; adding more balanced profit days brings the ratio back into range. On Prime, a day whose profit exceeds the threshold does not count toward payout eligibility.
Prop Trading Rules
Trading conditions and rules for prop accounts
YRM Prop runs a session-bound futures program. A trading day starts at 6:00 PM EST and runs until 4:15 PM EST the following day, and every position must be flat by that 4:15 PM EST close. No trading takes place between 4:15 PM and 6:00 PM EST, which the firm uses as a market reconciliation window.
- Overnight positions: not permitted. Nothing may be carried past 4:15 PM EST under any circumstance. Positions may be reopened once the evening session begins at 6:00 PM EST.
- Weekends: all positions must be closed before the Friday close. Trading resumes when markets reopen Sunday at 6:00 PM EST.
- News trading: fully allowed on every account type. There are no blackout windows before or after economic releases, and traders may open, hold and close positions through high impact events. Slippage during those events is treated as a market condition, and drawdown rules stay in force throughout.
- Copy trading: allowed. Traders may use the firm's internal copy tools or an external copier to manage their own accounts, and may run one strategy across several of their own accounts. It may not be used to hedge or offset risk, to coordinate trading between several people, or to manipulate payout and risk metrics.
- Automated trading: restricted unless explicitly approved. Sub-second order placement or cancellation, tick scalping, spoofing, layering and latency driven execution are prohibited, and trades are expected to be held for at least 10 seconds. Manual discretionary trading is always permitted.
- Hedging: prohibited. That covers simultaneous long and short positions in the same instrument, hedging across several accounts at the firm, and hedging a position at the firm against one held elsewhere.
- Arbitrage: latency, exchange and statistical arbitrage strategies that exploit feed or execution differences are prohibited, as is manipulative news straddling built to guarantee fills on both sides.
A day counts as a trading day when at least one trade is placed inside the 6:00 PM to 4:15 PM EST window. The firm follows the standard CME holiday calendar, and on early close days positions must be flat by the published early close.
Firm Rules
Guidelines and restrictions for funded accounts
Two separate risk mechanisms sit behind every YRM Prop account, and they do very different things. The trailing maximum drawdown is a hard floor: if live equity drops below it at any moment during the day, the account is closed permanently and any remaining profit is forfeited. The daily loss limit, where it applies, is a soft breach that disables trading for the rest of that day and leaves the account open.
The floor is recalculated from end of day balances and only ever moves upward. Once it reaches the starting balance it locks there permanently and never trails higher, so a trader who builds a cushion keeps it. Starter Challenge accounts carry no daily loss limit at all; the funded Prime stage adds a soft one.
Outside the drawdown maths, these are the conditions that end or invalidate an account:
- Inactivity. After 25 days without trading the firm sends a warning and allows a further 5 days. At 30 days the account is terminated, profits are forfeited, and entry and activation fees are not refunded.
- Activation window. A passed challenge must be activated within 30 days. Miss it and the pass expires and a new challenge has to be bought and passed.
- Account limits. Starter Challenge accounts are unlimited. Funded accounts are capped at 3 at any one time, and a trader who reaches live status may hold 1 live account. Passing more than 3 challenges leaves the surplus inactive until a funded slot frees up.
- Single user only. Sharing credentials, letting another person trade the account, running several profiles to get around the account cap, using false identity details or another person's payment method, and opening accounts to evade an earlier restriction are all grounds for termination. Constant location hopping and simultaneous logins from different regions are monitored and may trigger review, though VPN and VPS use is itself permitted.
- Permitted products. Only exchange listed futures on CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX may be traded. Stocks, options, forex, spot cryptocurrency and CFDs are neither permitted nor available on the platforms.
- Fees. Membership fees are treated as used in full on purchase and are not refunded.
A breached account may show a reset option in the dashboard, which restarts it without a fresh purchase. Where no reset is offered, continuing means buying a new account. Accounts are one time purchases throughout, with no subscription or recurring billing at any stage.
