Is Agra Markets a scam?

Wikilix independent safety report

Read the full report
0%Scam riskScam risk is our overall estimate that this broker is unsafe, from 0% (safe) to 100% (almost certainly a scam). It blends the six risk areas below, weighted by how strong the evidence is. Higher means riskier.
Likely scamOur overall call, based on the evidence we could verify. From safest to worst: Appears legitimate, Insufficient evidence, High risk (unverified), Likely scam, Confirmed scam. A separate "Not a broker" verdict is used when it does not really offer trading.Confidence: MEDIUMHow sure we are of this verdict, based on how much solid, checkable evidence we found. Shown as Low, Medium or High.
2.0/5Safety rating 2 out of 5
The Wikilix safety rating, from 1 to 5 stars. It mirrors the scam risk (5 = safest, 1 = riskiest), so a higher risk percentage means fewer stars.

Agra Markets shows the clearest warning sign we look for: it still advertises investor protection that the issuing body cancelled more than two years ago. We rate it 72% scam risk and recommend again…

Broker Summary

Summary of the broker

Agra Markets Broker Overview

Agra Markets is an online forex and CFD brand operated by Agra Markets LLC, a limited liability company incorporated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on 8 November 2021. The broker trades from agramarkets.com, offers MetaTrader 4 alongside a second platform called Prodigy, and sells three account packages with minimum deposits between $50 and $1,000 and leverage up to 1:500. It holds no financial services licence in any jurisdiction.

Agra Markets Regulation and License

Agra Markets LLC is a registered company, not a licensed financial services firm. Its entry on the register of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority records it as LLC number 1562, incorporated 8 November 2021 and currently Active, with EURO-CARIBBEAN TRUSTEES LTD. as registered agent. The broker itself publishes this number in the form 1562LLC2021.

No regulator is named anywhere on the broker's site. What the site does present under a regulatory heading is membership of a private dispute resolution body, described on its own membership page as protecting traders up to 20,000 EUR per case. That is a commercial arbitration arrangement between the broker and a private organisation. It is not a licence, it is not issued by a government authority, and it does not require the broker to segregate client money, hold regulatory capital or answer to a supervisor.

Is Agra Markets Regulated?

No. Agra Markets is not regulated by any financial authority. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines does not license or supervise forex dealing, so the company registration behind the brand carries no trading permission and no protection for a client's deposit. A trader who disputes a withdrawal with Agra Markets has no regulator to complain to.

Is Agra Markets Safe?

Agra Markets carries the risks common to an unlicensed offshore broker, and a client should weigh them before funding an account. There is no supervisor, no compensation scheme backed by law and no published commitment to hold client funds in segregated accounts. The company behind the brand is real and its registration is current, which distinguishes it from a purely fictitious operator, but corporate existence is not a safeguard over client money. The broker's own account-opening portal at my.agramarkets.com does not currently resolve, so the route it advertises for opening and funding a live account cannot be completed as published.

Agra Markets Account Types

Three packages are offered. Micro takes a $50 minimum deposit with spreads from 2.2 pips and leverage up to 1:500. Standard takes $100 with spreads from 2.0 pips and leverage up to 1:200. Professional takes $1,000 with spreads from 1.8 pips and leverage capped at 1:100. All three share a lot size range of 0.01 to 30 and all three are advertised with a swap refund. Demo accounts run for 60 days and are funded with $3,000 of virtual money, but the broker states they are only usable during weekday market hours.

Agra Markets Spreads, Commissions and Fees

Spreads are variable and start at 1.8 pips on the Professional account, 2.0 on Standard and 2.2 on Micro, which is wide by current retail standards. Commission is described only as applying to selected CFDs, with no schedule published. The broker's FAQ states elsewhere that it charges no fees or commissions at all, which contradicts the commission line printed on its own account table. Cryptocurrency spreads are floating and unquoted.

Agra Markets Leverage

Maximum leverage is 1:500, available only on the Micro account. Standard is capped at 1:200 and Professional at 1:100. Cryptocurrency positions are limited to 1:2 across the board. The stop out level is 100%.

Agra Markets Trading Platforms

MetaTrader 4 is the main platform, supplied under a white label arrangement rather than a full licence, and runs on desktop, web and mobile. The broker also promotes Prodigy, a third party trading system it describes as built by Ftechnics, with iOS and Android apps. A FIX API is advertised for institutional connections.

Agra Markets Deposits and Withdrawals

The published funding page lists two channels: Perfect Money in USD, EUR and cryptocurrency, and direct cryptocurrency transfer in BTC, USDT on TRC20, BEP20 and ERC20, TRX, BNB, ETH, UCC and UCX. The broker states no commission is charged on either. No minimums, maximums or processing times are published for individual channels, and no card or bank transfer option is listed. Withdrawals are described as requested through the client portal, and the broker's terms require that funds return to an account in the client's own name.

Agra Markets Pros and Cons

On the positive side, the operating company is named openly, its registration is current on the official register, the minimum deposit of $50 is low, MetaTrader 4 is available and the broker publishes a physical address, several telephone numbers and a full set of social channels.

Against that, there is no financial licence anywhere, a private dispute body is presented in place of regulation, spreads are wide and the fee position is internally inconsistent, only two funding channels are published and both bypass the chargeback protection a card would give, and the advertised account-opening portal does not resolve.

Agra Markets Review and Assessment

Agra Markets is a genuine company running an unlicensed offshore brokerage. The trading offer is conventional and modestly priced at the entry level, but everything a client would rely on if something went wrong is absent: no supervisor, no statutory compensation, no segregation commitment, and funding routes that leave no reversal path once money has moved. The single most important consideration before depositing is that recovering funds from Agra Markets would depend entirely on the firm's own cooperation.
