Is Errante a scam?

Summary of the broker
Errante Broker Overview
Errante is a forex and CFD brand that operates through two licensed companies: Errante Securities (Seychelles) Ltd, which holds Securities Dealer licence SD038 from the Seychelles Financial Services Authority, and Notely Trading Ltd, which holds Cyprus Investment Firm licence 383/20 from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and serves clients in the European Union. Both companies date from 2019. Accounts open from a 50 USD minimum deposit, and the broker offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader and TradingView across roughly 46 forex pairs, 89 other CFDs and 32 cryptocurrencies. Errante does not accept clients in the United States or Canada, among other jurisdictions.
Errante Regulation and License
Errante's regulatory position depends on which company holds the account. Errante Securities (Seychelles) Ltd, registered in Seychelles under company number 8425493-1, is licensed by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority as a Securities Dealer under licence SD038, and that licence is current on the authority's own register. Notely Trading Ltd, registered in Cyprus under HE394425, holds Cyprus Investment Firm licence 383/20 from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, effective February 2020 and also current on that regulator's register. The Cyprus licence is a full MiFID II permission covering reception and transmission of orders, execution on behalf of clients, dealing on own account, portfolio management and safekeeping of financial instruments.
Is Errante Regulated?
Yes. Both companies behind the Errante brand hold licences confirmed on their regulators' own registers, one in Cyprus and one in Seychelles. The two are not equivalent, however, and the answer that matters to a prospective client is which of the two companies their account agreement names.
Is Errante Safe?
The protections a client actually receives differ sharply between the two companies, so the presence of regulation does not settle the question on its own. Clients of the Cyprus company fall within the Investor Compensation Fund, which covers eligible retail claims up to 20,000 euro if the firm fails, alongside segregated client money and negative balance protection. Clients of the Seychelles company have no compensation scheme behind them, and pursuing a complaint across borders from outside Seychelles is slow and often impractical. The brand also runs a further website at errante.net operated by a separate Saint Vincent and the Grenadines company, which sits outside both licences above. Anyone opening an account should confirm which company the client agreement names before funding it.
Errante Account Types
Errante publishes four live tiers, separated mainly by minimum deposit and by how trading is priced. Standard opens at 50 USD, Premium at 1,000 USD and VIP at 5,000 USD, with quoted spreads narrowing as the tier rises. A top tier at 15,000 USD is priced instead on raw spreads from 0.0 pips with a commission charged per trade. Swap-free accounts are available for clients who need them.
Errante Spreads, Commissions and Fees
Spreads are variable and average about 1.5 pips on the entry-level Standard account, tightening on the higher tiers. Only the top tier is commission-based, where spreads start from 0.0 pips. Errante charges no deposit fee on any method it lists. On withdrawals it charges nothing on cards or bank wire and 1 percent on the e-wallets, while cryptocurrency withdrawals carry a network fee that varies by coin and region.
Errante Leverage
Errante's headline maximum leverage is 1:1000. Its published account tiers are more conservative than that figure: 1:500 on Standard, 1:400 on Premium and 1:200 on VIP.
Errante Trading Platforms
Errante offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 on Windows, Mac, Android and the web, with MetaTrader 5 also available on iOS. It runs a branded cTrader build, Errante cTrader, with Windows and Mac installers and dedicated iOS and Android apps, and it lists TradingView alongside them.
Errante Deposits and Withdrawals
The minimum deposit is 50 USD across the methods Errante lists, which cover bank wire, Visa and Mastercard, e-wallets including Skrill, Neteller and Advcash, and cryptocurrency including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether. Card and e-wallet deposits credit instantly and bank wires take two to four working days. Withdrawals start at 20 USD on cards and e-wallets and 100 USD on bank wire, and card withdrawals can take four to eight business days to appear. Errante requires withdrawals to return to the original funding source and does not pay out to third parties.
Errante Support
Live chat runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with a separate Japanese-language desk Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 24:00 JST. Errante publishes a United Kingdom telephone number and the address support@errante.com, and it supports 14 languages including Arabic, Chinese, Persian, Spanish and Vietnamese.
Errante Pros and Cons
- A genuine EU investment firm licence behind the Cyprus company, with compensation cover up to 20,000 euro.
- A low 50 USD entry point, four account tiers and swap-free accounts.
- Four platforms, including both MetaTrader versions, a branded cTrader and TradingView.
- Wide funding choice with no deposit fees, although e-wallet withdrawals cost 1 percent.
- Clients placed with the Seychelles company have no compensation scheme and limited practical recourse.
- The brand operates through more than one company and more than one website, which makes the protections a given client receives harder to establish than at a single-entity broker.
- Residents of the United States, Canada and a number of other jurisdictions are not accepted.
Errante Review and Assessment
Errante is a genuinely licensed broker with a broader platform line-up than most firms of its size, and its Cyprus arm is regulated to a standard that carries real client protections. The decision facing a prospective client is therefore not whether Errante is regulated but which Errante they are dealing with, because the Seychelles company that serves most non-EU clients offers the same brand and the same platforms with materially weaker safeguards behind it. Read the client agreement and confirm the contracting company before funding an account.

How we know
- 1This policy is Errante Securities (Seychelles) Ltd's, read from that entity's own domains (errante-global.com, errante.io, errante.co and the myportal.errante-global.com account-opening portal), all of which identify the operator as Errante Securities (Seychelles) Ltd, company number 8425493-1, FSA licence SD038. The errante.com address redirects to errante.eu, whose policy is Notely Trading Ltd's under CySEC, and errante.net publishes a different and shorter notice under Errante Trading LLC. Neither of those was used as a source for this record.
- 2Confirmed blocks are the jurisdictions the Company's own standing restriction notice names AND that its live account-opening country selector does not offer: Albania, Barbados, Botswana, Cambodia, Canada, Iraq, Mauritius, Myanmar, North Korea, Nicaragua, Panama, Syria, Uganda, USA, Yemen and Zimbabwe. The notice reads "Restrictions to accessing our services may apply to individuals being a national of, or a resident of, the following ... countries" and appears site-wide, including on the Terms and Conditions at https://errante-global.com/terms-and-conditions/.
- 3Accepted jurisdictions are the 172 territories offered by the Company's live account-opening country selector that its restriction notice does not name. The selector is a closed list of 178 territories out of roughly 249, and the identical set is served on both the English and the Persian registration flows at https://myportal.errante-global.com/register/ and https://myportal.errante-global.com/fa/register/.
- 4Six jurisdictions are named in the website restriction notice yet are still offered by the account-opening selector, so their block is recorded as unconfirmed rather than confirmed: Afghanistan, The Bahamas, Ghana, Iran, Jamaica and Russia. The account-opening pages carry their own shorter notice naming only ten jurisdictions (Afghanistan, Albania, Canada, Iraq, North Korea, Panama, Syria, USA, Yemen and Zimbabwe), which omits five of these six. The onboarding selector decides here, so none of the six is recorded as a confirmed block.
- 5Iran is the sharpest of those conflicts. The Company's English website notice names Iran, but its account-opening selector offers Iran on both the English and the Persian registration flow, and the Persian-language notice on that same flow omits Iran from its restricted list altogether. On the Company's own pages the operational position is therefore that Iranian residents are onboarded, and the placement of IR rests on https://myportal.errante-global.com/fa/register/ read against the website notice at https://errante-global.com/.
- 6Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands are recorded as dependent territories of a named blocked parent: the United States is named in the restriction notice, and none of these five is itself named anywhere or offered by the account-opening selector.
- 7The Terms and Conditions, the AML and KYC Policy and the Deposit and Withdrawal Policy were all read and add no country list. The Terms state that the Company does not accept clients who are US Reportable Persons. The AML policy refers only to heightened scrutiny for residents of countries with inadequate AML standards and names none, so no codes were inferred from it. No dedicated restricted-countries page exists on the site; the candidate paths all return 404 and the FAQ and site search surface only the standing notice.
