Summary of the broker
Euro Finance Broker Overview
Euro Finance is the trading brand of EURO-FINANCE AD, a Bulgarian joint stock company based in Sofia and part of the Eurohold group. The firm dates its business to 1994 and operates as a licensed investment firm rather than a pure CFD shop: alongside contracts for difference and rolling spot forex it provides direct share, ETF and bond dealing on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and on Deutsche Börse, portfolio and wealth management, investment banking, and distribution of Amundi funds. Trading runs on two platforms, EF MetaTrader 5 for CFDs and EFOCS for exchange-traded instruments.
Euro Finance Regulation and License
EURO-FINANCE AD is licensed as an investment firm by the Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission. The company publishes the licence on its own regulatory page and in its contact details as РГ-03-0004/11.07.2008, and its General Terms of Business additionally cite FSC Decision No. 81-ИП/01.02.2006 as the authorisation under which it provides investment services in the European Union, the European Economic Area and in third countries. Those terms state that the firm's activities are directly governed by MiFID II and the Bulgarian Law on Markets in Financial Instruments, and are supervised by the Financial Supervision Commission in Sofia. Bulgaria is an EU member state, so this is onshore European regulation rather than an offshore registration.
Is Euro Finance Regulated?
Yes. The licence is a genuine EU investment-firm authorisation and the licence holder is the same company that takes client money, which is the arrangement a client wants to see. One qualification belongs on the record: this research confirmed the licence and its number against the firm's own published documents and a licence certificate, and did not open the Financial Supervision Commission's own register to re-read the entry. A reader who wants that last step can check the number directly with the authority.
Is Euro Finance Safe?
The structural protections are real and unusually concrete for a CFD provider. Client cash and assets are covered by the Bulgarian investor compensation arrangements up to EUR 20,000 per client, as the firm's own deposit page states, and client money is held with UniCredit Bulbank AD and CACEIS Bank Deutschland GmbH rather than in-house. The firm is an authorised broker at the Bulgarian Stock Exchange Sofia AD and a full member of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, a member of Central Depository AD and an associate member of Eurex Clearing, all of which require standing that a shell operation does not have. Negative balance protection applies to CFD accounts. Against that, the firm publishes its own figure that 64.3% of retail investor accounts lose money trading CFDs with it, which is the ordinary outcome of leveraged trading and not a defect specific to this broker.
Euro Finance Spreads, Commissions and Fees
The CFD offering is marketed with no fees or commissions, and access to EF MetaTrader 5 is provided free of charge, so the cost sits in the spread plus daily overnight financing published per instrument. Target spreads start at 0.5 pips on EUR/USD, with the other majors at 0.5 to 0.7 pips, minors at 1.0 to 3.5 pips and exotics from 10 pips upward. Index CFD spreads range from 30 points on the US 500 to 1,500 on the Hong Kong 50. A full schedule of fees is published among the firm's legal documents.
Euro Finance Leverage
Retail leverage follows ESMA caps and varies by asset class: up to 1:200 on forex, 1:20 to 1:33 on stock indices and 1:2 to 1:5 on cryptocurrencies. Margin call is triggered when required margin reaches 50% of the account balance, and positions may be closed out at 30%.
Euro Finance Trading Platforms
EF MetaTrader 5 carries the CFD and rolling spot forex business on the EuroFinance-MetaTrader 5 server, with builds for web, Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, plus algorithmic trading, copy trading and VPS hosting. EFOCS is the firm's own platform for exchange-traded shares, ETFs and bonds on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and Deutsche Börse, available as a web terminal, a Windows application and mobile apps, with live and demo accounts.
Euro Finance Deposits and Withdrawals
Accounts are funded in EUR, USD or GBP. Bank transfer carries no commission from the firm but is accepted only from an account the client holds personally, and cash may be paid in at the Sofia office up to EUR 5,000 per transaction, also free. The online routes cost more: ePay, EasyPay and B-Pay each charge 1.20%, and PayPal 3.40% plus EUR 0.35. Outgoing transfers are made in the account's base currency and any third-party costs are borne by the client. The firm will not send money to a third-party beneficiary.
Euro Finance Support
Support runs on Bulgarian office hours, Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:30, in Bulgarian and English only, and the firm draws up client documents in those two languages. It publishes direct numbers and mailboxes per department, including a dealing desk, back office and technical support, which is more useful than a single queue. There is no live chat and no 24-hour cover.
Euro Finance Pros and Cons
- Pro: onshore EU regulation by the Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission, held by the same entity that takes deposits.
- Pro: investor compensation up to EUR 20,000 and client money held at named third-party banks.
- Pro: exchange memberships and a long operating record, not a recently created brand.
- Pro: genuine multi-asset reach, with real exchange dealing alongside CFDs.
- Con: no published minimum deposit and no account-tier comparison, so entry conditions are not knowable before applying.
- Con: support is office hours only and in two languages, with no live chat.
- Con: online deposit routes carry 1.20% to 3.40% charges.
Euro Finance Review and Assessment
Euro Finance is an established European investment firm that happens to offer CFDs, which puts it in a different category from the offshore-registered brands that dominate retail forex. The regulatory position, the named operating company, the compensation cover and the exchange memberships all check out. The gaps are commercial transparency rather than integrity: the firm does not publish a minimum deposit or an account comparison, so anyone deciding whether it suits them should confirm the entry threshold and the applicable fee schedule with the firm before signing the intermediation agreement.

How we know
- 1Site-wide footer risk disclaimer, published on every page including https://eurofinance.bg/en/: 'The information on this site is not directed at residents of the United States, and is not intended for distribution to, or use by, any person in any country or jurisdiction where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation.' The United States is the only jurisdiction the broker names, so US is the only confirmed block.
- 2The same clause also gestures at 'any country or jurisdiction where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation'. That is a category and not a list of countries, and the broker names no members of it, so no codes were inferred from it.
- 3Client agreement checked at https://eurofinance.bg/wp-content/uploads/documents/legal-documents/General%20terms%20of%20business.pdf (linked from https://eurofinance.bg/en/legal-documents/). Reached and read. Its opening sections state the firm is licensed to provide investment services in the European Union, the European Economic Area and in third countries, and they contain no restricted-jurisdiction or excluded-residents clause.
- 4No dedicated countries page exists. https://eurofinance.bg/en/faq/ and https://eurofinance.bg/en/helpdesk/ were reached and hold no restriction list, and the site publishes no /restricted-countries or /accepted-countries path.
- 5Registration form at https://my.eurofinance.bg/en was reached. Its country field is populated from the generic international dial-code list bundled with the form's phone component (all countries present, from Afghanistan onward), so it applies no onboarding filter and yields no whitelist codes. Recorded here because this location normally outranks the published texts.
- 6Deposit and payment page at https://payments.eurofinance.bg/en was reached and lists methods, fees and currencies but no country restrictions.
- 7The regulator-filings location was not used: the operating licence's permitted-territory scope states where the firm may offer services, never which jurisdictions it refuses, so it cannot set a confirmed block.
- 8Per-language site variants are Bulgarian and English only, which indicates the markets the firm actively serves but is not a restriction statement, so no codes were derived from it.
Recorded by WIKILIX research, not published by the broker, and not a guarantee. A country listed nowhere above is not thereby accepted — check Euro Finance's own terms before you open an account.
