High contract risk

Fusion Markets promises in Vietnamese, Indonesian and Chinese that your account can never go below zero, yet its policy excludes people living there.
Everywhere else, that protection is a discretion Fusion Markets can suspend in volatile markets and claw back for 90 days.
The Vanuatu terms let it use your deposit for its own hedging and treat scalping, which its FAQ welcomes, as misconduct.
Trading costs are low, but the documents add a 1% conversion cost, an inactivity fee and bank charges the site calls zero.

Broker Summary

What Wikilix has recorded about Fusion Markets: its history, the licences it holds, its trading conditions and its fees.

Fusion Markets Broker Overview

Fusion Markets is a forex and CFD broker headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, which says it was founded in November 2017 and began trading for clients in June 2019. It operates through several group companies and states that it is regulated by ASIC in Australia, the Financial Services Authority in Seychelles and the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission. The broker competes on cost, with a raw-spread Zero account, a commission-free Classic account and no minimum deposit, on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader and TradingView.

Fusion Markets Regulation and License

The footer of the Fusion Markets website sets out its regulation company by company:

  • FMGP Trading Group Pty Ltd (ABN 74 146 086 017): for Australian clients only, Fusion Markets is a trading name of this company, which the site says is regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) under Australian Financial Services Licence 385620.
  • Fusion Markets International Ltd: described as a securities dealer regulated by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles under licence SD096.
  • Gleneagle Securities Pty Limited: described as a registered Vanuatu company (company number 40256) trading as Fusion Markets and regulated by the VFSC.

The website itself is owned by Fusion Markets Pty Ltd, at Level 10, 627 Chapel St, South Yarra, Victoria. The legal documents follow the same split, with a Client Services Agreement for the Seychelles company dated 18 December 2025, and product terms and a Product Disclosure Statement for the Vanuatu company dated 28 February 2022.

Is Fusion Markets Regulated?

Fusion Markets says it is regulated, but the regulator depends on which group company holds the account. The website presents the ASIC licence as covering Australian clients only, and the broker's FAQ sets out separate leverage and negative balance protection terms for clients of its VFSC and FSA companies.

Is Fusion Markets Safe?

How well a Fusion Markets client is protected depends largely on which group company holds the account. The broker's FAQ says client deposits are held in a trust account separate from company funds, that client money may not be used for hedging or business expenses, and that the funds are not guaranteed. Negative balance protection is applied automatically for eligible clients of the Vanuatu and Seychelles companies, with negative balances reset once per working day, but it does not cover residents of Mongolia, Türkiye, Indonesia, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, Vietnam or the People's Republic of China.

Fusion Markets Account Types

Fusion Markets offers two live accounts with the same products and different pricing. The Zero account has spreads from 0.0 pips plus a commission, while the Classic account has spreads from 0.9 pips and no commission; neither has a minimum account size, and clients can switch between them by email request. A Swap-Free account runs on MT4 and MT5 only, with a minimum EUR/USD spread of 1.4 pips and, instead of swaps, an admin fee on positions held longer than 7 days. High-volume traders can be invited to the Premium Program, which adds Bronze to Diamond service tiers by monthly trading volume, with reduced commissions and a dedicated client manager, on top of the regular accounts. A demo account stays active for 30 days and can be extended once a live account is funded.

Fusion Markets Spreads, Commissions and Fees

The Zero account charges USD 2.25 per side, or USD 4.50 round turn, per standard lot on forex and metals, with round-turn equivalents in other account currencies such as AUD 4.50, EUR 4.05 and GBP 3.55. On cTrader the commission is 2.25 per 100,000 of notional per side in the base currency of the instrument, for example EUR 2.25 per side on one lot of EUR/USD. The account pages put the all-in cost at about 0.5 pips on Zero against about 0.9 pips on Classic, and no commission is charged on US share, crypto, energy and commodity or index CFDs.

The Seychelles Client Services Agreement (clause 5.2) describes commission as applying only to CFDs on futures and shares, which differs from the account pages, and the same clause allows an inactivity fee of up to USD 10 a year after 12 months without transactions.

Fusion Markets Leverage

For clients of its Vanuatu and Seychelles companies, the Fusion Markets FAQ gives maximum leverage of 500:1 on forex and metals, 100:1 on index CFDs and 10:1 on cryptocurrencies. The broker says the limit depends on where the client lives and which company holds the account, and its indicative guide lowers the maximum as account equity grows, from 500:1 up to USD 50,000 to 50:1 above USD 1,000,000.

Fusion Markets Trading Platforms

Fusion Markets offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 on Windows, Mac, the web and mobile, and US share CFDs are traded on MT5. cTrader, which includes cTrader Copy, is available on desktop, on the web at app.fusionmarkets.com and on mobile, for the Zero account only. TradingView is traded through a separate TradingView account opened in the Client Hub, which runs on a cTrader backend and works with the Zero or Classic account; MetaTrader accounts cannot be connected to it. Copy trading is also available through the broker's own Fusion+ service and the third-party DupliTrade service for MT4, and money managers can use a multi-account manager system.

Fusion Markets Deposits and Withdrawals

Fusion Markets says it charges nothing for deposits or withdrawals and lists more than 30 funding options, including Visa and Mastercard, bank wire, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, crypto and local providers that vary by country, most with a USD 10 minimum. It covers card and e-wallet merchant fees of up to 4% of a deposit, but reserves the right to apply them when funds are withdrawn without significant trading, and international wires into its Australian trust account typically cost USD 20 to 30 in bank charges outside its control.

The broker says 85% of withdrawals are processed within an hour, measured to the end of its internal processing, while its FAQ allows up to one business day for compliance checks before the payment provider's own transfer time. Estimated arrival runs from instant for PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity and crypto to 3 to 5 business days for bank wires. The current withdrawal page lists no route back to a card, although older policy documents for the Seychelles and Vanuatu companies describe card refunds, and under the Seychelles agreement withdrawals should go back by the method used to fund, to an account in the client's name.

Fusion Markets Support

Fusion Markets says its support team works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by live chat on the website, by email at help@fusionmarkets.com and by phone on +61 3 8376 2706, with a Thai desk on +66 2 114 7370. The broker's FAQ says it offers no support through Telegram, WhatsApp or any channel not listed on its website, and asks clients raising a trade dispute to email their account and ticket numbers, allowing up to 24 hours for the investigation.

Fusion Markets Pros and Cons

Pros

  • No minimum deposit, and no deposit or withdrawal fees charged by the broker.
  • USD 4.50 round-turn commission per standard lot on the Zero account for forex and metals.
  • A wide platform choice: MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView, plus copy trading.
  • Support around the clock by live chat, email and phone.

Cons

  • The ASIC licence covers Australian clients only, according to the site, and the higher leverage and negative balance protection terms are written for the Vanuatu and Seychelles companies.
  • The current withdrawal page offers no route back to a card.
  • The Seychelles client agreement and the account pages describe commission differently.
  • An inactivity fee of up to USD 10 a year, and merchant fees may be applied to withdrawals made without significant trading.

Fusion Markets Review and Assessment

Fusion Markets suits cost-conscious traders who want raw-spread pricing, fee-free funding and a choice of MetaTrader, cTrader and TradingView. The main point to settle before funding an account is which group company will hold it, because that decides the regulator, the leverage available and whether negative balance protection applies.

How we know — 12 sources
  1. 1Onboarding list, the strongest source: the client hub sign-up at https://hub.fusionmarkets.com/auth/sign-up loads its country list from https://api.fusionmarkets.com/api/v1/verification/personal/countries, which flags 21 entries as banned (Afghanistan, American Samoa, Congo, Guam, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Iraq, Japan, Myanmar, New Zealand, Korea (Democratic People's Republic of), Northern Mariana Islands, Palestine, Puerto Rico, Russian Federation, Somalia, South Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Ukraine, United States of America, Virgin Islands (U.S.), Yemen) and flags Spain as soft-banned; the hub refuses a banned or soft-banned country when it is selected. All 22 are confirmed refusals.
  2. 2Published text: the footer of every page on https://fusionmarkets.com, its es, id, zh, vn and th versions and the hub sign-up page says 'Fusion Markets is not able to take clients from Afghanistan, Alberta, Congo, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Myanmar, New Zealand, North Korea, Ontario, Palestine, Russia, Spain, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Yemen, or the United States or its territories.'
  3. 3FAQ 'Which countries do you not accept?' at https://fusionmarkets.com/FAQ: 'some regions are currently blocked from opening accounts', repeating the list and naming the US territories as 'American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands'.
  4. 4Sudan is a likely but unconfirmed refusal: the footer and the FAQ name 'Sudan', but the onboarding list leaves Sudan selectable and bans South Sudan instead. The form decides for South Sudan, which is a confirmed refusal. Sudan stays a likely but unconfirmed refusal. Text: https://fusionmarkets.com/FAQ; form: https://api.fusionmarkets.com/api/v1/verification/personal/countries.
  5. 5'Congo' in the footer and FAQ is read as the Republic of the Congo, the entry the onboarding list bans under the name 'Congo'. The Democratic Republic of the Congo can be selected in that list and counts as accepted.
  6. 6United States Minor Outlying Islands (refused as a US dependent territory): it falls under the footer's 'the United States or its territories', but the FAQ's list of territories does not name it and the onboarding list does not ban it.
  7. 7Alberta and Ontario are provinces, not countries, so they are in neither list: the footer and FAQ name both, and the onboarding list marks both Canadian provinces as restricted. Canada is on the accepted list for its other provinces.
  8. 8Accepted list: the remaining 225 countries in the onboarding list, which the client hub accepts at country selection. Kosovo is also in that list but has no official country code, so it is not counted among the 225.
  9. 9The footer also says the site's information 'is not intended to be an inducement, offer or solicitation to anyone outside of Australia'. It is not read as a block: the same footer names the Vanuatu entity (Gleneagle Securities Pty Limited) and the Seychelles entity (Fusion Markets International Ltd) and lists the jurisdictions refused, and the onboarding list accepts non-Australian residents.
  10. 10No country list in the legal documents at https://fusionmarkets.com/About-us/Regulations: the Seychelles Client Services Agreement (18 December 2025), the Vanuatu Financial Product Service Terms (28 February 2022) and the Vanuatu PDS name no jurisdictions; clause 4.4 of the Seychelles agreement only reserves 'additional due diligence requirements to accept Clients residing in certain countries where the risk of money laundering may be higher'.
  11. 11Iran is a confirmed refusal on the broker's own pages: banned in the onboarding list as 'Iran (Islamic Republic of)' and named 'Iran' in the footer and the FAQ. The site's language versions (en, en-AU, es, id, zh, vi, th) include no Persian version.
  12. 12Negative balance protection exclusions in the FAQ (Mongolia, Türkiye, Indonesia, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, Vietnam, China) limit a product feature, not onboarding; those countries still count as accepted.
Recorded by WIKILIX research, not published by the broker, and not a guarantee. A country listed nowhere above is not thereby accepted — check Fusion Markets's own terms before you open an account.

FAQ: international wires take 2-3 business days on average, up to 5. Refund and Return Policy (Seychelles entity, September 2022): bank wire withdrawals reach clients in 2-5 business days. Deposit Options page: instant, min 10 USD, fee 0 USD, currencies AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, SGD, USD in the default view (the country views list USD, AUD, GBP, EUR, SGD). Fusion says it covers card merchant fees of up to 4% of the deposit, but the Withdrawal Options page reserves the right to apply merchant fees when funds are withdrawn without significant trading activity. FAQ: no fee for Visa or Mastercard funding; a recommended maximum of 25,000 USD or equivalent per card deposit to reduce card rejections (a recommendation, not a stated limit); deposits credit instantly unless extra verification is needed; AMEX is not accepted. Older documents differ on card withdrawals: the Refund and Return Policy (Seychelles entity, September 2022) says funds returned to credit and debit cards arrive in 1-5 business days, and the PDS (Vanuatu entity, 28 February 2022) says a card-funded withdrawal may be refunded to the original card at Fusion's discretion and also names China UnionPay cards. Cards must be in the account holder's name; a chargeback breaches the Refund and Return Policy, and the PDS says chargeback fees may be passed on.

Match-back rule (FAQ): an account funded by PayPal must first withdraw back to the same PayPal account up to the amount deposited (typically the most recent 6 months) before using another method. PayPal Wallet or PayPal's card option can be used. The FAQ lists countries where PayPal is unavailable for compliance reasons, among them Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Nigeria, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the USA; the deposit page's country views omit PayPal for those of these countries they include, and the deposit and withdrawal views differ in places (PayPal is a withdrawal option but not a deposit option in the Pakistan and Botswana views). Common questions about Fusion Markets

Most Popular Questions

Fusion Markets' FAQ asks clients to email help@fusionmarkets.com with their account number, the ticket numbers, a screenshot and a description of the problem, and to allow up to 24 hours for the investigation. The broker publishes no separate complaints address on its contact page, FAQ or terms.

Fusion Markets offers CFDs on forex, metals, indices, energy and soft commodities, US shares and cryptocurrencies. Its trading conditions list 81 currency pairs and 12 cryptocurrencies, and US share CFDs are traded on MetaTrader 5.

Yes, for eligible clients of its Vanuatu (VFSC) and Seychelles (FSA) companies, according to its FAQ: if a balance falls below zero after positions are closed, Fusion Markets resets it to zero, and negative balances are reset once per working day. It is not available to residents of Mongolia, Türkiye, Indonesia, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, Vietnam or the People's Republic of China, and further exceptions for certain trading activity are set out in its Negative Balance Protection Policy.

Yes. A Fusion Markets demo account stays active for 30 days and can be extended free of charge once a live account is funded, on request to help@fusionmarkets.com. Demo and live accounts can be held at the same time.

Yes. Its own Fusion+ Copy Trading service copies approved money managers' trades to followers' accounts and is free while the master and each follower trade at least 2.5 lots of forex or metals a month, otherwise it costs USD 10 a month, and masters may charge followers performance fees of up to 30%. cTrader includes cTrader Copy, and DupliTrade, a third-party copy trading service, can copy selected traders into a Fusion MT4 account.

It can. Under its Seychelles Client Services Agreement dated 18 December 2025 (clause 5.2), Fusion Markets may charge an inactivity fee of up to USD 10 a year after 12 months with no transactions.

Yes. The Fusion Markets Swap-Free account charges no swaps and no commission, runs on MT4 and MT5 only, and has a minimum EUR/USD spread of 1.4 pips with no minimum balance. Instead of swaps, an admin fee per lot applies to positions held longer than 7 days, charged once every 7 days, for example USD 50 per lot on EUR/USD and USD 200 on gold. It is opened by contacting the account manager or support, and a client holds either only swap-free or only swap-charged accounts.

Fusion Markets says it was founded in November 2017, launched trading for clients in June 2019 and is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. The footer of its website names Fusion Markets Pty Ltd as the owner of the site, FMGP Trading Group Pty Ltd (ABN 74 146 086 017) as the company for Australian clients, Fusion Markets International Ltd in Seychelles, and Gleneagle Securities Pty Limited, a Vanuatu company with company number 40256.

Fusion Markets' current withdrawal page lists no withdrawal route to a card in any country view. Older documents on its site describe card refunds: the Seychelles company's Refund and Return Policy of September 2022 says funds returned to cards arrive in 1 to 5 business days, and the Vanuatu company's Product Disclosure Statement of February 2022 says a card-funded withdrawal may be refunded to the original card at the broker's discretion. Its client agreement says withdrawals should go back by the method used to fund, and that the broker may decline a method and suggest another.

Fusion Markets says 85% of withdrawals are processed within an hour, measured to the end of its internal processing, and its FAQ adds that compliance checks can take up to one business day before the payment provider's own transfer time applies. Its withdrawal page gives estimated arrival from instant for PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity and crypto, 1 to 2 business days for Jetonbank, Interac and local bank transfers, and 3 to 5 business days for international bank wires. The broker charges no withdrawal fee and pays only to accounts in the client's name.

Fusion Markets says it charges nothing for any deposit method and lists more than 30 funding options, including Visa and Mastercard, bank wire, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, crypto and local payment providers that vary by country, most with a USD 10 minimum. Card and e-wallet deposits are credited instantly. The broker covers card and e-wallet merchant fees of up to 4% of a deposit, but reserves the right to apply them if the money is withdrawn without significant trading, and international wires to its Australian trust account typically cost USD 20 to 30 in bank charges outside its control.

Fusion Markets offers two live accounts, Zero and Classic, with the same products and different pricing: Zero has spreads from 0.0 pips plus a commission of USD 2.25 per side per standard lot, and Classic has spreads from 0.9 pips with no commission. Neither has a minimum account size. A Swap-Free account is available on MT4 and MT5, and high-volume traders can be invited to the Premium Program, which adds service tiers on top of the regular accounts.

Yes. Fusion Markets says it cannot take clients from Afghanistan, Congo, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Myanmar, New Zealand, North Korea, Palestine, Russia, Spain, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Yemen, or the United States and its territories. In Canada, it does not accept clients from Alberta or Ontario.

Fusion Markets says its support team works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by live chat on its website, by email at help@fusionmarkets.com and by phone on +61 3 8376 2706. The Thai version of its contact page lists a separate desk on +66 2 114 7370 and thai.help@fusionmarkets.com. The broker's FAQ says it does not offer support through Telegram, WhatsApp or any channel not listed on its website.

For clients of its Vanuatu (VFSC) and Seychelles (FSA) companies, Fusion Markets gives maximum leverage of 500:1 on forex and metals, 100:1 on index CFDs and 10:1 on cryptocurrencies. The broker says the limit depends on where the client lives and which company holds the account, and its indicative guide lowers the maximum as account equity grows, from 500:1 up to USD 50,000 to 50:1 above USD 1,000,000.

Fusion Markets has no minimum deposit, and commission depends on the account. The Zero account charges USD 2.25 per side (USD 4.50 round turn) per standard lot on forex and metals, with spreads from 0.0 pips, while the Classic account charges no commission and has spreads from 0.9 pips. The broker's Seychelles Client Services Agreement (clause 5.2) describes commission as applying only to CFDs on futures and shares, which differs from the account pages.

Fusion Markets offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader and TradingView. MT4 and MT5 run on Windows, Mac, the web and mobile; cTrader runs on desktop, the web and mobile and takes the Zero account only; and TradingView is traded through a separate TradingView account opened in the Client Hub, with the Zero or Classic account. The broker also runs its own Fusion+ Copy Trading service.

Fusion Markets states that it is regulated through three group companies: FMGP Trading Group Pty Ltd, which it says holds ASIC Australian Financial Services Licence 385620 and serves Australian clients only; Fusion Markets International Ltd, described as a securities dealer regulated by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles under licence SD096; and Gleneagle Securities Pty Limited, a Vanuatu company (number 40256) it describes as regulated by the VFSC. Its FAQ says client deposits are held in a trust account separate from company funds, and that the funds are not guaranteed.
