Top 10 Brokers Based in Seychelles by WIKILIX Score

The ten highest-scoring brokers registered in Seychelles that carry a clean regulatory status, chosen from the 21 clean-status firms among the 95 we track and ordered by WIKILIX score.

Updated August 2026

Ninety-five of the brokers on WIKILIX are registered in Seychelles, yet only 21 of them carry a clean regulatory status. The ten below are the highest-scoring of those 21. taurex leads at 58.3, and the list closes with AltumFX at 36.4, a firm that only opened in 2024. Every name here holds an active licence and a status we treat as clean, which is exactly why the ranking looks nothing like a straight score sort of the country.

Why the highest scores are missing here

Sort all 95 Seychelles-registered brokers by score and the top of the page fills with names we have flagged. LMAX International sits at 82.4 under a suspicious-clone label. equiti (66.1), PLUSSFX and ZFX carry the same warning. In total, nine of the 95 are marked as suspicious clones and one, trading as Fake Exness, is recorded as an outright scam. Ranking any of those at number one would reward a score its own status contradicts. So this list keeps only the 21 firms labelled clean and orders them by score, which is what pushes the raw leaders off the page.

What "based in Seychelles" means for your money

A Seychelles address tells you where a company is registered. It does not tell you who supervises it or who may open an account. The Seychelles Financial Services Authority, the FSA, is an offshore regulator that we place in tier three, and its safeguards are lighter than a British or Australian regime. That gap is the reason international groups set up a Seychelles arm: the offshore licence lets them offer leverage a European licence would cap. JustMarkets, run by Just Global Markets Ltd, reaches 1:3000 through its Seychelles entity, far above what its regulated European brand may advertise.

Seven of the ten hold the Seychelles FSA licence directly. The other three are registered on the islands but supervised from elsewhere. fpmarkets, the oldest name here at 2005, runs on ASIC and CySEC. Admirals carries nine authorisations, among them the FCA, ASIC and Germany's BaFin. Errante is licensed by CySEC alone. Where a firm is based and who licenses it are two separate facts, and this ranking turns on neither of them. It turns on the score.

How the score orders them

The WIKILIX score weighs the strength of a broker's licences, the length of its record and the warnings held against it, then settles on a figure between 0 and 100. Nine of these ten hold licences from two or more authorities. ArgoTrade, part of Leadcapital Corp Ltd, carries four, including the FCA and CySEC. Four of the ten hold at least one tier-one licence. The median score across the shortlist is just under 50, a reminder that even the strongest Seychelles-registered firms rate below their onshore peers.

Before you open a Seychelles account

  • Check which company your client agreement actually names. A group's Seychelles arm and its Cyprus or UK arm are separate legal firms with separate protections.
  • Look up the licence on the FSA's own Securities Dealers register rather than trusting a badge on the broker's homepage.
  • Read the leverage on offer. Figures like 1:1000 or 1:3000 exist here because the offshore licence permits them, and high leverage magnifies a loss as readily as a gain.
  • Remember that Seychelles has no statutory compensation scheme on the scale of the UK's FSCS, so a collapse can leave clients with little to claim against.

Two limits are worth stating plainly. This ranking says nothing about spreads, commissions or execution quality, none of which sit in our records, and it does not tell you whether a given firm will accept you as a client from where you live. Both are for the broker to disclose and for you to confirm. The status labels reflect what WIKILIX holds as of today, so check any licence on the FSA register before you deposit a cent.

This is the score order on the day the page was built, not a fixed ranking. A Seychelles firm that gains a stronger licence, loses one, or picks up a suspicious-clone flag will move, and we recheck the status labels and scores behind this list on a rolling basis.

If you want the whole picture instead of the shortlist, the full run of Seychelles-registered brokers, flagged names included, sits on our broker-location pages. To weigh domicile against licence, see the ranking of Seychelles FSA regulated brokers, which sorts on the licence itself rather than the registered address. Readers comparing offshore hubs often look next at the brokers based in Hong Kong, a jurisdiction with a tier-one regulator and a very different protection standard.

Whichever way you go, treat this as a starting shortlist rather than a verdict, and confirm every licence number on the regulator's own register before you move any money.
