Topical Wealth

Topical Wealth is the trading brand of Topical Wealth International Ltd, a Seychelles company that describes itself as a financial-technology firm offering intelligent trading, investment research and asset-management services to institutional and individual investors. Its own website states that the company is registered in the Seychelles under number 8427574-1 and is authorised and regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority under licence number SD077. The registered office given is Room 7, 1st Floor, Dekk House, Zippora Street, Providence Industrial Estate, Mahe, Seychelles, and the site also names a physical office at Room 503C, 5/F Inno Centre, 72 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong.

Regulation. The single licence is a Seychelles securities-dealer permission. It is a real, offshore, light-touch authorisation: it allows the firm to deal in derivatives, futures, securities, bonds and options, but it carries no client-money compensation scheme, no negative-balance-protection requirement and no statutory ombudsman a retail client can turn to. It is not comparable with an onshore licence from a Tier 1 authority. No onshore regulator supervises the firm, and WIKILIX was not able to confirm the licence against the issuing authority's own register in this review.

Platform and offering. The broker offers a single platform, MetaTrader 5, with Windows, Android and iOS builds published on its own download page and live and demo servers named TopicalWealthIntl-Live and TopicalWealthIntl-Demo. On its business page the firm lists stock markets, index CFDs, energy CFDs and crypto CFDs, plus investment research covering Asia-Pacific, European, Hong Kong and US equities.

The honest caveats. This is the part a prospective client should weigh most heavily. The website is a four-page corporate brochure. It publishes no account types, no minimum deposit, no spreads or commissions, no leverage, no deposit or withdrawal methods, fees or processing times, and no client agreement or terms of business, even though the footer tells the reader to read the terms of business before trading. There is no registration form, no client portal and no live chat; the only support channels are one email address and one Hong Kong telephone number. The footer refuses service to a long list of jurisdictions, and unusually that list includes Hong Kong, the very place the company gives as its physical office.

Who it suits. Realistically, very few retail traders. Without a published fee schedule, funding terms or client agreement, a prospective client cannot know the cost of trading or the rules under which their money would be held before they deposit. Traders who want MetaTrader 5 have many alternatives supervised by onshore regulators with segregated-funds rules and a compensation scheme. Anyone who still wishes to proceed should treat any deposit as fully at risk and obtain the account terms, the fee schedule and the funding and withdrawal rules in writing first.
