VPFX Broker Overview
VPFX is the trading brand of Ventura Prime FX Limited, a company registered in the Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia under number LL16224 and licensed there by the Labuan Financial Services Authority. The broker offers margin trading in foreign exchange alongside precious metals, energies, indices and shares, on a single platform, MetaTrader 5. Its three live account tiers start at a minimum deposit of 100 USD on the entry-level Standard account and rise to 25,000 USD on the top tier.
Ventura Prime FX Limited does not accept clients resident in the United States, in European Union member states, or in a published list of sanctioned jurisdictions that includes North Korea, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Yemen. In the United Arab Emirates, client introduction and promotion is carried out by a separate group company rather than by the Labuan entity itself.
VPFX Regulation and License
Ventura Prime FX Limited holds licence number MB/20/0046 from the Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA), the statutory financial regulator for the Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia. The licence appears on the authority's own register of licensed entities, recorded against the exact legal name Ventura Prime FX Limited and a Labuan registered address.
The permission on record is a money broking licence. In Labuan that category covers arranging and negotiating transactions between buyers and sellers for a brokerage fee, rather than dealing as principal against retail clients. It is an intermediation permission, not an onshore retail dealing licence, and it should not be read as one.
Is VPFX Regulated?
Yes, within the limits described above. VPFX operates under a confirmed Labuan licence held by Ventura Prime FX Limited, and Labuan is an offshore financial centre whose supervisory regime is lighter than that of a major onshore authority such as the FCA, ASIC or CySEC. No onshore European, Australian or United Kingdom authorisation is on record for this broker.
Ventura Prime FX Limited
Ventura Prime FX Limited is the contracting party named in the client agreement for all client trading services, and it is the entity that holds the Labuan licence. Its registered address is Kensington Gardens, No. U1317, Lot 7616, Jalan Jumidar Buyong, 87000 Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia.
A second company, VPFX Financial Services LLC, is presented on the group's own regional site as the authorised introducer and promoter of Ventura Prime FX Limited products in the United Arab Emirates. That company states that it does not provide trading, execution or account management services and does not receive or hold client funds. Clients introduced in the UAE therefore contract with the Labuan entity, and the company registration of either business is a corporate record rather than a financial licence.
Is VPFX Safe?
VPFX has a named operator and a licence confirmed on its regulator's own register, which places it above brokers that disclose neither, but its client protections are those of an offshore money broking licensee. VPFX states that client funds are held in segregated accounts with tier 1 banks. That is the broker's own statement and it is not an investor compensation scheme: a client of the Labuan entity should not assume access to the statutory compensation or ombudsman arrangements an onshore licence would carry.
Two practical consequences are worth weighing before funding an account. Leverage of up to 1:1000 on the entry-level tier is far above the caps onshore regulators impose, and a money broking permission is not a retail dealing permission.
VPFX Account Types
VPFX publishes three live account tiers, all on MetaTrader 5:
- Standard, from a 100 USD minimum deposit, leverage up to 1:1000, no commission.
- VIP, from a 10,000 USD minimum deposit, leverage up to 1:500, no commission.
- Elite, from a 25,000 USD minimum deposit, leverage up to 1:200, commission charged but not published as a figure.
A demo account is available alongside the live tiers. No swap-free or Islamic variant of any tier is published.
VPFX Commissions and Fees
The Standard and VIP tiers are advertised without commission, so their cost is carried in the spread. The Elite tier is commission based and the broker does not publish the per lot figure, which makes its total cost impossible to compare against the other two from public information alone.
Funding costs fall on the withdrawal side. Deposits are free on every published method, while withdrawals cost 40 USD or 50 AED by bank wire, 2.50 per cent by card and 0.50 USD by FasaPay. Skrill and Neteller withdrawals carry no commission.
VPFX Leverage
Maximum leverage is tied to the account tier and falls as the tier rises: up to 1:1000 on Standard, 1:500 on VIP and 1:200 on Elite. The 1:1000 headline therefore belongs to the smallest account, not to the premium ones.
VPFX Trading Platforms
MetaTrader 5 is the only trading platform VPFX offers, with Windows, macOS, Android and iOS builds. MetaTrader 4 is not available, so a trader tied to MT4 expert advisors or indicators cannot bring them to this broker without porting them first.
VPFX Deposits and Withdrawals
VPFX publishes six funding routes: bank wire transfer, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller and FasaPay. Card and e-wallet deposits are credited instantly, and bank wires take two to four working days. The minimum deposit is 100 on every route except FasaPay, which requires 1,000.
Withdrawal requests are processed within 24 hours and funds usually reach the client's account in three to five working days. Third party payments are not accepted: the receiving bank account must be in the same name as the trading account. No cryptocurrency funding route is published.
VPFX Support
Live chat is offered 24 hours a day on weekdays, with customerservice@vpfx.net for general support and support@vpfx.net for complaints. Support is published in English only.
VPFX Pros and Cons
In its favour, the operating entity is named and its Labuan licence is confirmed on the regulator's own register, deposits are free across six funding routes, the entry-level minimum deposit of 100 USD is low, and client funds are stated to be held in segregated accounts.
Against that, the licence on record is an offshore money broking permission rather than a retail dealing licence, leverage of up to 1:1000 is far beyond onshore caps, the top tier's commission is not published, withdrawals carry a fee on most routes, only MetaTrader 5 is supported, and residents of the United States and the European Union are not accepted.
VPFX Review and Assessment
VPFX suits a trader who wants MetaTrader 5 access to forex and a selection of metals, energy, index and share markets through a named, Labuan licensed operator, and who is comfortable with offshore supervision and high leverage. It is a poor fit for anyone who needs onshore regulatory recourse, MetaTrader 4, swap-free trading or fee-free withdrawals.
The most important point to settle before funding an account is what the Labuan money broking licence permits in relation to your own trading, since an intermediation permission and a retail dealing permission are not the same thing, and the compensation arrangements of an onshore regime do not apply.
