Wonderinterest Broker Overview
Wonderinterest is the trading brand of Wonderinterest Trading Ltd, a Cyprus Investment Firm based in Limassol and incorporated in 2014. It offers contracts for difference on forex, shares, indices, commodities and ETFs alongside physical share dealing, on MetaTrader 5 and the XOH Trader platform. Retail leverage is capped at 1:30, spreads are floating and start at 0.5 pips on EUR/USD, and the entry level account carries no minimum deposit.
Wonderinterest Regulation and License
Wonderinterest Trading Ltd holds Cyprus Investment Firm licence number 307/16, issued by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and in force since 9 August 2016. The licence covers reception and transmission of orders, investment advice and execution of orders on behalf of clients, with safekeeping and administration of financial instruments, connected foreign exchange services and investment research as ancillary services. The company is registered in Cyprus under number HE 332830. WIKILIX confirmed the licence number, the jurisdiction, the licensed entity name and the start date against a licence certificate, and separately confirmed the company on the Cyprus companies registry. This review did not re-run the check on the regulator's own public register, which a reader can do from the link the firm publishes on its licence and regulation page.
Orders from retail clients resident in the Czech Republic are received and transmitted through a tied agent, Wonderinterest Trading s.r.o., which is separately entered in the Czech commercial register. The firm states it does not accept clients from the United States or North Korea.
Is Wonderinterest Regulated?
Yes. Wonderinterest is operated by a licensed Cyprus Investment Firm supervised by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, an onshore European regulator rather than an offshore registrar. That brings the firm inside the European product rules: leverage capped at 1:30 for retail clients, negative balance protection, segregated client money and access to the Cyprus Investor Compensation Fund.
Is Wonderinterest Safe?
The structural protections a European regulator requires are present and documented, which places Wonderinterest well ahead of an offshore CFD operator, though no licence removes the risk of trading itself. The client agreement commits the firm to holding client money in segregated accounts, keeping it separate from its own funds and not using it in its own business, and the firm names the banks and electronic money institutions that hold it. Negative balance protection is stated outright. The firm's own risk warning records that 73.31% of retail investor accounts lose money trading CFDs with it. The operating company has been registered since 2014 and licensed since 2016, and the management it names publicly appear as registered directors of that company.
Wonderinterest Account Types
Six live accounts are offered, named after energy sources and separated almost entirely by deposit size:
- Wood: no minimum deposit.
- Coal: from 50,000 USD, adding local language support.
- Water: from 100,000 USD, with spreads quoted 20% below Coal.
- Solar: from 250,000 USD, with spreads 45% below Water and Autochartist included.
- Nuclear: from 500,000 USD, with spreads 65% below Solar.
- Fusion: from 1,000,000 USD, with spreads 75% below Nuclear, a dedicated account manager and no commission on share CFDs.
Only the Wood tier is within reach of an ordinary retail client. A demo account is available and expires after 30 days. Accounts are quoted in euros, US dollars, Czech koruna, Hungarian forint and Polish zloty.
Wonderinterest Spreads, Commissions and Fees
Spreads are floating, from 0.5 pips on EUR/USD, across 54 currency pairs. Forex, index and commodity CFDs carry no separate commission. Share CFDs are charged at 0.1% of volume on most European markets and 0.3% on US markets, ETF CFDs at 0.3%, and physical shares at 1% with a minimum of 20 EUR, 20 USD, 500 CZK, 6000 HUF or 80 PLN depending on account currency, applied on both opening and closing. Inactivity costs 39 USD per month after six months without activity and 79 USD per month after twelve, and is not charged on an account holding no funds. Physical share holdings attract a portfolio management fee taken as a swap, and Italian CFDs and ITA40 carry a fixed financial transaction tax.
Wonderinterest Leverage
Retail leverage is capped at 1:30, in line with the European product intervention rules. Major currency pairs reach that cap, most other pairs are limited to 1:20, share and ETF CFDs to 1:5, commodities to 1:10, and physical shares are unleveraged at 1:1. Margin call is signalled at a 100% margin level and positions are closed automatically at 50%.
Wonderinterest Trading Platforms
MetaTrader 5 is the main platform, connecting to the firm's own Wonderinterest-Live server, with desktop, iOS and Android builds linked from the site and more than 31 interface languages. The firm also offers the XOH Trader platform. Autochartist is bundled from the Solar tier upwards.
Wonderinterest Deposits and Withdrawals
Bank transfer and credit or debit card are the published funding channels, both free from the firm's side, though third party payment charges are passed on to the client. Card deposits are capped at 10,000 EUR and bank transfers have no stated maximum. Withdrawals are made by bank transfer, are handled within one business day of receipt and must return to the account the money came from; international transfers can take a further two to five business days to arrive. Payments to anonymous or third party accounts are refused.
Wonderinterest Support
Support is by telephone and email rather than live chat, on +357 25 056 419 and support@wonderinterest.com, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 CET, with separate Czech and Spanish numbers published. The site is available in nine languages and local language support is offered from the Coal tier upwards.
Wonderinterest Pros and Cons
- Licensed and supervised by an onshore European regulator, with segregated client money, negative balance protection and compensation fund cover.
- A verifiable operating company at a real Limassol address, with its directors on the public record.
- No deposit or withdrawal fees, and no minimum deposit on the entry level account.
- The tiered accounts require 50,000 to 1,000,000 USD, so the better pricing is out of reach for most clients.
- Leverage is capped at 1:30 and no swap free account is offered.
- Inactivity fees begin after six months, and there is no live chat.
Wonderinterest Review and Assessment
Wonderinterest is a conventional, properly licensed European CFD and share dealing broker rather than a high leverage offshore operation, and the checks that matter most, the licence, the company and the people behind it, hold up. What a prospective client should weigh here is commercial rather than structural: the entry account carries the firm's widest spreads, better pricing is gated behind deposits far above retail scale, and the firm's own disclosure that most retail accounts lose money applies to it as it does across this market.

How we know
- 1Trading Account Agreement, clause 22.1(m) at https://www.wonderinterest.com/en/documents/WI_Client-Agreement: the client represents that he is 'not from the USA and North Korea, as the Investment Firm does not accept Clients from these countries'. US and KP are recorded as confirmed blocks on that wording.
- 2The five inhabited dependent territories of the United States (Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands) are not named anywhere in the firm's documents; they are recorded as dependent territories of the named US block, not as confirmed blocks in their own right.
- 3Trading Account Agreement, clause 1.3.1: reception and transmission of orders from retail clients residing in the Czech Republic is provided through the firm's tied agent registered in the Czech Republic. CZ is recorded as explicitly accepted on that wording, corroborated by the tied agent's own registration in the Czech commercial register.
- 4Website Terms of Use at https://www.wonderinterest.com/en/documents/WI_Terms-and-Conditions-for-the-Use-of-Website, under 'Intended Users': the site 'is not intended for any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation'. The clause names no jurisdiction, so no country code is taken from it.
- 5Registration form at https://www.wonderinterest.com/en/registration collects name, e-mail, password and telephone only and carries no country-of-residence selector. The only country dataset the page loads is a 241-entry international dialling-code list that includes Antarctica, which is a telephone prefix picker and enforces no onboarding policy; residence is established later from proof-of-residence documents. No whitelist is taken from it.
- 6No dedicated restricted-countries, prohibited-countries, accepted-countries or where-we-operate page exists on the site, and no standalone anti-money-laundering policy is published; the deposit and withdrawal page and the partner page carry no country restrictions.
Recorded by WIKILIX research, not published by the broker, and not a guarantee. A country listed nowhere above is not thereby accepted — check Wonderinterest's own terms before you open an account.
