Payout policy

Payouts run on a fifteen day cycle on every TenTrade program. The standard route pays the trader's share of profit made within a fifteen calendar day window, provided the account has at least five active trading days in that window and no rule has been broken.

An accelerated route runs alongside it: once a funded account reaches a ten percent gain, and once five active trading days have been completed, the trader can request an immediate payout without waiting for the cycle to close.

Two mechanics matter more than the schedule:

  • Profit is capped per payout. A single request pays out on a maximum of ten percent of the initial account capital. Profit earned above that ten percent is forfeited and the account is reset to its starting balance once the payout is processed, so the firm advises requesting a payout as soon as ten percent is reached. Trading continues after the reset.
  • Scaling and withdrawing are mutually exclusive. Leaving a ten percent gain in the account scales it to the next tier, up to $100,000 on TenEdge and $500,000 on TenExpress. Once a withdrawal has been taken on an account, that account is no longer eligible for scaling. The two smallest tiers in each family cannot be scaled at all.

Requests trigger an account review. Where profit was generated through one or a few oversized, unusually high risk or speculative trades, the terms state the account does not qualify for a payout. On TenExpress a breach of the profit score rule at the moment of request resets the account to its starting balance rather than paying out. Withdrawals are processed within one to three business days once approved.

Passing an evaluation is confirmed separately: funded account approval takes between one and forty eight hours.

TenTrade applies one set of trading rules across all four funded programs, and the published constraints are unusually permissive on strategy while strict on execution style.

  • News trading: permitted without restriction. The program terms state that no limitations are placed on trading during high impact events, and that the trader accepts the slippage, delayed or partial fills and order rejection that can follow.
  • Overnight and weekend holding: both allowed on every program.
  • Stop losses: not required. Positions may be run without a protective stop.
  • Expert Advisors and bots: allowed on the Instant funding accounts only. Automated trading is not permitted during either the TenEdge or the TenExpress evaluation phase.
  • Third party copiers: the TenExpress terms state that copier software is not allowed on evaluation or live funded accounts, and that breaching the copy trading rules is grounds for losing the account.
  • Maximum open positions: five at any one time, across all account types and all instruments. The platform enforces this limit rather than penalising it after the fact.

A separate list of execution styles is prohibited outright and, where the risk desk identifies them, accounts are closed without notice: high frequency trading, latency arbitrage, double leg or hedge arbitrage, reverse arbitrage, tick scalping and ultra fast scalping inside one minute. Hedging between accounts, including between a funded account and a standard brokerage account or an account at another firm, is treated the same way.

There is no minimum holding time for an individual trade. What the terms target instead is behaviour they describe as gambling: excessive overleveraging, all in position sizing, sudden lot size jumps inconsistent with prior activity, and reaching a target through one or two outsized trades.

Consistency

Consistency rules

TenTrade publishes no consistency rule and no three minute rule on any of its four funded programs. The two families differ on one further rule:

  • TenEdge (Instant and Challenge): no consistency rule, no three minute rule and no profit score rule. The firm markets the absence of the profit score rule as the distinguishing feature of the TenEdge family.
  • TenExpress (Instant and Challenge): no consistency rule, but a Profit Score Maximum of 25% applies at every tier. The rule is that no single trade and no single trading day may account for more than 25% of total closed profit at the time a payout is requested. On a $1,000 total closed profit, the largest winning trade or the highest single day of profit must be $250 or less.

The consequence of breaching the profit score is a reset, not a payout: if the score exceeds 25% when a live account or payout is requested, the account is reset to its starting balance. The firm's guidance is to keep trading rather than request the payout, so that total profit grows and the score falls back inside the limit first.

Separately, and on both families, the terms state that although there is no formal consistency rule all accounts remain subject to ongoing risk and compliance monitoring. An account does not qualify for a payout where the target was reached primarily through one or a few oversized, unusually high risk or speculative trades, and the firm reserves sole discretion over that judgement, up to payout denial and account termination.

Outside the drawdown limits themselves, TenTrade names a short and specific list of events that end a funded or evaluation account. The terms enumerate them for each program in the same form.

  • Breaching the overall drawdown measured from the starting balance. All trades are closed, the account is disabled and it is permanently lost.
  • Breaching the daily drawdown measured from the equity at the 00:00 GMT+3 rollover. This is the one breach the platform detects and emails automatically, and it triggers a close of all open positions.
  • Thirty days of inactivity. On the Instant programs the clock starts after the first trade.
  • Using a prohibited trading strategy, in which case the terms state the account is lost with no refund of the registration fee.
  • Breaching the copy trading rules, on the TenExpress programs.

Two operational points are worth knowing before starting. Only the drawdown breaches are flagged automatically; the firm states plainly that it does not notify traders when they break any other rule, so a breach can sit undiscovered until a payout is requested. And a maximum of five positions may be open simultaneously across every account a trader holds, enforced by the platform rather than policed afterwards.

Accounts are also subject to a public conduct clause: the terms state that posting misleading reviews or false information about the firm or its funded trader program may lead to account termination, a permanent ban and loss of access without refund.

Programs are structured either as a single ten percent evaluation phase or as instant funding with no target at all. Every tier is sold as a one time registration fee with no activation charge on passing, and no program carries a time limit.
